Bickerton Sandstone Trail Campsite

Gostou I liked absolutely everything about this site, the location was remote enough to feel like I was in the countryside yet close enough to nearby supermarkets etc. The site itself is immaculately kept, the gardens stunning and the owner helpful and friendly. As a solo female camper safety is paramount for me, so the security gate onto the field was appreciated.

Não gostou My only gripe was the cobwebs in the toilet, they were pretty well established (!) and it made me wonder how often they are cleaned. The loos themselves were clean, but just a suggestion!!!!

Gostou Tim met us on arrival, he was friendly and helpful. Large camping site with electric point ( I like my comfort now I'm getting old) WC facilities were always spotless, there's a place to wash your dishes with hot and cold water.
There robotic lawnmowers about the site to keep the grass areas perfectly clear with hardly any loose grass blades about.
It's perfectly placed to visit places of interest, attend festivals or if your just after a quiet place to relax.
We will definitely be back to this little gem of a place.

Gostou The host was lovely!
The site was very well maintained.
The toilets and shower where very clean.
The electrical hookup was conveniently placed and worked well.
The outdoor washing up area was clean and had hot water working.
The pitch was level
Our dog was very happy and comfortable.
The site is very conveniently located.
The site was secured by an electric gate.
Bins where conveniently located.

Gostou The camp site was great! Beautiful views and so peaceful.
Shower and toilets were immaculate.

Gostou Beautifully maintained lawns ,was perfect for me ,my daughter and dogs,my sister and her partner and dogs.The canpsite pitches where well spaced out,not over crowded.The owner was very friendly ,explaining the facilities to us.The facilities toilet,shower, where clean .,Hot water available to wash the dishes. Very pleasant stay .

Gostou Brilliant campsite in a beautiful setting!
Peaceful, well-kept, and perfectly located for walking the Sandstone Trail. The facilities are well kept , and the owners are incredibly welcoming. A real gem – we’ll definitely be back! Thank you

Gostou The owner a lovely man, had plenty of time to talk to you. Made us feel very welcome the field is flat the pitches nicely spaced apart so you not listening to other campers in their tent. Small site adults only is a bonus for us, looking for chill time.

Gostou What a gem! Amazing quiet site, so much space.
Being a bank holiday I was scared everywhere would be hammered. But this was perfect. It’s a huge field and everyone is so spread out.
We made the owner aware my dog wasn’t great with other dogs and we had the whole top end of the field.
It was clean, flat and quiet.
In understand why previous reviews state they will be back. Safe to say i will be one of them.
