Gostou Site walevel and was geerally well kept. Toilets were clean and CPD unit was perfectly adequate. traffic noise was as described by other reviews but was not a problem as far as we were concerned. Cafe on-site good.

Não gostou Was surprised that at least 3 visitors were allowed to put up large tents/ campervan awnings on the grass areas BETWEEN the designated gravel bays/pitch. This obviously meant that there was often only a 3 foot between the tent and the caravan 'next door'. I would have found this lack of privacy very annoying!

I found the WIFI very unreliable - as did other visitors.

Gostou Very friendly staff. Very informative. Informative sent via email and given in hard copy extremely helpful. Everything needed to know was on it. Site close to chester town and zoo. Cafe on site. Shower, toilet facilities Very Very clean. Site lovely. Very quiet, clean and well lit.

Não gostou Husband said only one urinal in his toilet and two toilets. Had to wait a couple of times to go. But very clean st all times. Husband Coundnt pick up the WiFi but rest of us could.nothing fir kiddies, but we knew that. We had older children so wasn't an issue.

Gostou Lovely pitches, site was clean and tidy and well kept. Showers and toilet blocks immaculate. Lady in the office was very helpful

Não gostou Elsan point has a washing up brush to clean the toilet
Needs a proper toilet brush
It is next to a very busy main road so quite noisy

Easy reach to Chester. Main roads to access the site. The top quality Cafe Location was a bonus
Clean. Tidy well maintained

Não gostou Noise, close to two major roads. Value for money - overpriced for basic site. Checking in complicated as info arrived in two emails.

We are genuinely sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. But I would like to point out that whilst we are close to two roads, for that reason we are also very close to lots of major attractions such as Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks, Chester Racecourse, the walled City of Chester. With easy access to the Wirral and North Wales.

We feel our site is far from basic benefiting from lovely flat well dressed pitches and a BRAND NEW ***FREE*** HEATED SHOWER BLOCK AND SEPERATE TOILET BLOCK. AND ***FREE*** WIFI ACROSS THE ENTIRE SITE.

Checking in could not be simpler. if you come during office open hours you simply call into reception, this is what the first welcome email tells you. The second email is sent in case you may need to arrive later than our usual office hours and simply gives you the gate code and your pitch number with other important information. This is also followed by a telephone call from reception prior to closing to ensure you have the information to hand. As we obviously cant man the Office 24Hours, so we find this usually works well.
