Very peaceful
Sat right next to the water, there was midgies but it’s expected , once we set up the fire they seemed to disperse .
Toilets were close by to the small pitch area, clean, look updated to previous pictures. They had hot water to wash up utensils in close by also.
Cafe wasn’t open but we walked the 5 minutes up to The Old Silent Inn which is beautiful with the be eat food and dog friendly, lovely barmaid

Não gostou Our arrival wasn’t really welcoming, the host (female with glasses) seemed slightly rude like we’d interrupted her.
The other hosts we saw as we were leaving, a male and female seemed lovely, said hello etc.

Gostou Stayed one night stopover for inaugural trial use of new roof tent.
Nice little site adjacent to stream. Only one other vehicle arrived stayed over night when I was there, so site very quiet (which was good).
May not be so quiet if Ponden Mill being used a wedding venue.
Facilities clean, but basic.
Owner/manager very friendly and cafe at end of car park nice unexpected facility.

Gostou This is my third visit and won't be my last. That says it all. Beautiful location near the historic town of Haworth. Helpful and friendly staff. highly recommended.

Gostou Very peaceful setting . Lovely walks and Hebden Bridge and Howarth great places to visit .

Gostou My tiny caravan had a puncture before I arrived so I opted for tent this time.

It was a lovely small site nestled in the hills, very relaxed and had most things I needed.
There had been a pop up cafe and bar in the mill next to the site over the weekend but I missed this.

The roads to the site were very windy and often single lane; next time with the caravan I'd make sure I planned my route beforehand to avoid most of these.

It's virtually on the Pennine Way and Brontë way so lots of walking from the site. It was beautiful at this time of year with the heather in bloom.

Gostou Beautiful location, camping beside the little stream with the gentle burble of water is very idyllic. It’s a quiet spot and a small enough site you likely won’t be disturbed. My motorcycle felt secure and I was able to camp near it. The popup cafe was good with proper homemade cakes.

Não gostou The facilities are very basic, the gents lacked hot water and what little soap was available on Saturday was gone by Monday. Definitely bring your own soap or wet wipes. Only one male toilet could also mean queues in the morning.
Wifi stopped working on the first evening.

Gostou Beautiful site by the river, a very friendly guy talked us through our pitch options.
Clean loos and shower, and level pitches

Não gostou Didn't feel very welcome by the lady in the office and was over charged. Once I realised I had been over charged I emailed Ponden Mill requesting a refund, I have not received a response.

Be careful if you walk up to the nearest Pub, the road is quite dangerous for walkers.

Gostou Flat pitches.
Clean ladies toilet
Lovely area and a very friendly cat.
Spoke to the male owner who was nice and friendly.

Não gostou Midges, although by the water so to be expected these were relentless and had to leave after one night due to us all being bit so much (even with repellant) The images made it look like plenty of room for tents when infact right next to each other. The washing up area was not clean and was blocked/very slow draining due to food.

Gostou What a lovely little gem of a place, the person who greeted us was so friendly she couldnt do enough or tell us enough about the place and surrounds
