Brompton Caravan Park

Gostou We stayed in the camping cabin but it wouldn't let me choose that on this form.
Beautiful location, right on the river so my son could fish his heart out and I can imagine when it's warmer weather its wonderful for a paddle. Lovely pebble beach area too.
Cabin was very comfy and well equipt with unexpected extras plates, cups, cutlery and a washing up bowl. There was also complimentary tea/coffee. It was super toasty with the heater too.

Gostou Very clean and well kept toilets and showers were spotless also the general site was clean with no rubbish anywhere and grass well kept . Good size area for the kids to play also good park for them too . Games room was also a nice touch the kids really enjoyed it . Not a bad location with Richmond town centre a 5 minute drive down the road

Não gostou If I were been picky the pitch size could be slightly bigger but not an issue

Gostou There was a lovely warm welcome from the guy in reception. The pitch was level gravel with grass between us and our neighbours. The facilities were spacious, warm and very clean with lots of shelf space for toiletries. There was also a shop on site, a fenced play area for children, and a large designated space for football and other ball games. The receptionist also gave us a map for a lovely walk through woods and fields to Easby Abbey and Richmond beyond. Both are well worth a visit. We visited late in the season, and found the site to be quiet and well-maintained.

Não gostou I think the site could get a bit crowded in high season. There seemed to be a lot of established caravans which were empty when we visited, but if were occupied could make the site very busy.
Also, the washing up area was very dark at 7.30pm, and could be improved with draining racks.

Gostou Good size showers. Clean facilities.
Lovely site with great access to the river swale and local areas.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Não gostou Lights in the toilet block at night, went off mid shower, needs longer on the PIR.
Shower cubicles need a fold-down seat or bench, as nowhere for clothes and floor is wet.

Gostou Lovely site, very clean and well looked after! Friendly staff - we arrived late (Sorry!!) due to the motorway being closed and the phone line wasn’t working to contact them, we turned up and called the number on the door and they answered no problem and came to check us in. Our 2 and 3yo loved the park even though it was aimed more at older children. With a bit of help they could use the slide and climbing frame. There are steps down to the river, I imagine this would be lovely in summer!

Gostou This campsite exceeded expectations in every way. The location is truly spectacular, with beautiful river views and meticulously maintained grounds. Facilities are excellent – the washrooms are pristine, multiple Elson points and waste disposal areas ensure convenience, the games room and play area provides entertainment for children. An on-site shop adds further practicality for any forgotten items. Exceptional value for money, making this a thoroughly deserving 5-star stay.

Gostou It was a lovely site and the toilets were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. And I will be coming again very relaxing and peaceful.
