Midsummer Caravan and Camping

Gostou Ground was nice and level. Site was tidy.

Não gostou No reception or anyone to speak to. Very smelly toilet and shower block although they were clean. Very noisy as a group of 8 campers were up until 3:30 am. Unsure if the water was actually drinking water, so didn’t use it.

Gostou The actual campsite was lovely, but when we got there the facilities were dirty & bins had not been empty Had to complain and they only got cleaned the day after. Wasn’t very happy we were promised a refund and didn’t get it. Somebody did come to look at the facilities that night, but they were very abrupt and made us feel very uneasy.

Gostou Not much to like

Não gostou Shower dirty and really smelly water couldn't use. Toilet smelly bins over flowing.
Parked in field because when booking said no hard standing left yet there was empty spaces. Grass in field uneven and not been cut for a a couple of weeks. Water was undrinkable so good job we had our own .
Mainly tents in field. Lots of fires going late into the night and early morning, not nice when your in a camper van, had to keep all windows closed on an extremely hot night.
Bins full to capacity and over flowing.
So basically paid £28 to sleep in a field unable to open windows , unable to use shower and waited to get to next site to use toilet. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't use again.

Gostou the site it self is very very good nice and clean and tidy did not use the showers a wc as we have them in the van really loved it Great for the dog

Não gostou only dislike is that there is no internet we stayed at a site in north Wales up in the hills miles from anything and they had free internet all over the site bigger than this one you need to put internet in

Gostou We visited this campsite last year & really enjoyed our stay so thought we would visit again. It's a safe campsite for children to play freely, spacious pitches, clean facitilies and usually friendly people to chat too.

Gostou Quite tidy pitches

Não gostou Funky smelly water from the shower block and hook up connection on the pitch. It was that bad we didn't bother to use the shower facilities

Gostou Cleanliness of everywhere on the site. It is immaculate, pitches are a good size with gravel hard standing and then a grass area for your awning. Electricity and water on each pitch.
Centrally located between two great ice cream places as well!
The relaxed pace and the most gorgeous sunsets.
Great showers and toilet blocks, hot water a plenty.
Interactions with owners rapid and courteous. So good we stayed two nights more than we had planned!

Não gostou Not a dislike but a laundry facility would be useful please.
No wifi.

Gostou Lovely little site, nice and clean and well maintained. Wish I booked here for longer than 1 night. Nice little play area for the kids, clean toilets and showers, well maintained site. Good location.

Não gostou Little tricky to find on the sat nav.
