Killerby Old Hall Caravan Park

Gostou We’ve just got back from 4 nights here. The site itself is lovely and clean. Very peaceful at night with a lovely view of the fields. The toilets and showers are the cleanest we’ve ever used. There was not one bit of dirt in them. The site is close to bus stops which take you to Scarborough and Bridlington. It’s also a short drive to the beach. There’s a bistro on site and an indoor swimming pool but unfortunately we didn’t get chance to use them….hopefully use them next time we come as we will definitely be booking again! Well done to the owners for keeping this site beautiful and clean, we will definitely be recommending you to others.

Gostou Peaceful site, well maintained

Não gostou Hot water in pot wash room never lasted long enough to do dishes, unmanned reception made it feel very impersonal and lack of full time staff on reception should be reflected in pricing but I don’t think it was. Not a big deal, just my thoughts

Gostou Fully serviced pitch with good restaurant nearby. Toilets and showers were satisfactory. No sign or smell of any cleaning recently done during our stay.

Não gostou Pitches are too close to each other and with no shrubs or hedging so no privacy at all. People walking past both ends of the motorhome constantly. Felt like everyone was just parked up in a carpark.

Gostou Our lodge exceeded our expectations, it really was like a good self catering apartment in condensed form. They are very well designed and were very comfortable for our family of 3. Also the shared facilities were clean and tidy, the lodge area is quiet and peaceful, and there's loads to do in the surrounding area with Scarborough and Cayton Bay on the doorstep. The bar is a pleasant place for a drink too. Surprisingly the wifi was pretty good! Lots to like, we had a great little break at this lovely site.

Não gostou We ate at the bar/restaurant. It's really smart, a nice place for a drink, but the food looks a bit of an oversight. The costs are the going rate but the quality isn't, at least not on the night we visited .

Gostou The pod was good and as expected.
The whole place was very attractive well cared for.
Hot tub was fun

Não gostou The hob. Impossible to work without instructions. Phoned for help a man appeared he couldn’t get it to work. He phoned for help after many instructions we got it working. You cannot see the controls and they work totally illogically.
Pitch up said the Bistro open every day. We visited Monday and Tuesday. It’s closed.
The telephone no on pitch incorrect

Gostou How clean, and quite it was, the staff were very accommodating, the indoor pool was lovely and had it to ourselves most of the time, we didn't use the bistro but believed it was worth a visit. There was public transport and a convenience store 5 minutes walk from the site, the launderette on site was very handy.

Gostou Very family friendly. Excellent shower block with plentiful hot water. Loved the dog park and park for the kids.
Close to Scarborough, close enough to walk to the pub and chip shop.
Overall a really lovely well maintained site without being snobby

Gostou This is a beautiful spotless site with modern
Clean facilities , the grounds are will kept ,food in bistro is great staff are all very friendly and helpful highly recommend 5*

Não gostou No one is available at reception but have a ring door bell..
Having to top up for electricity is a bit of a flaf but guess once it's done it's ok
