Gostou What an absolute gem of a site!

Immaculately clean, the customer service is the best I have ever seen. We and another 2 families used the touring facilities over Halloween. The scare maze was made magical for the kids, how did you do that? The perfect blend of scare whilst feeling safe. Fire pits are allowed 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Very rare you get a site who allows them. We all had toasted marshmallows after.
Shop is very well stocked, we didn’t try the cafe but looked so well organised and spotless. The staff are a credit to this site, so so helpful and friendly. Showers clean and warm, they even had a playroom/ den for the kids on rainy days…. We have already decided to book for next year! Thanks for the memories Thorpe Farm….

Gostou Had a great break with lots of walks with the dog. Very well maintained camping grounds and the facilities were immaculate. Staff in shop/reception were really attentive and supportive. Night time security gates at entrances give additional peace of mind when close to a main road.

Gostou Welcome was very nice polite lovely shop bit steep on prices but over well stocked shop and nice place looks like it’s a growing business

Gostou The farm was lovely, animals would come up to you for petting. Staff really nice. Pitch was a decent size. Local to Barnard Castle. Easy to get to

Gostou What a beautiful site. Loved the reclamation barn, farm animals & walks. Lovely cafe & shop, with lots to do if you have children.
Immaculate shower / utility block and everyone was welcoming & friendly. This was our very 1st stop with a new motorhome and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Gostou toilet block was clean

Não gostou The A66 dual carriage way is meters from the row of tent pitches. It was exceptionally noisy. The tent pitches were also on a slope and uneven ground.

Gostou Lovely big entrance area to pull the caravan in when checking in at reception and plenty of space to get down to the pitch.

The kids absolutely loved the tyre swings and there was so much space for a little kick about or a game of frisbee.

Very quiet site with spotless facilities and we even appreciated the warden asking if all was OK as he came past.

Não gostou Nothing! The traffic noise is fine, it became just like white noise at night.

Gostou Lovely site, very dog friendly, showers were great and the activities for kids was great (animal sanctuary and maize maze), farm shop on site was good and reasonably priced. Only 10 - 20 mins to Barnard castle.

Não gostou Need to be aware that it is on the A66 so road traffic is constant.
