Gostou Not one thing

Não gostou Arrived to what looked like an explosion had happened in a trailer park with static caravans opened up, building materials strewn about, rubbish, cars and all sorts. Initially thought we had got the postcode wrong. We were shown the direction for the camping and told “the showers at least have warm water”. We drove in, I had a look at the toilets (which had no toilet paper and the washing up area was dirty)and immediately decided we were leaving.
Would recommend to steer clear.

Gostou This is a nice site, lovely location surrounded with great public footpaths including ones towards the beach! Get to choose where you want to pitch up which was nice!

Não gostou Facilities are EXTREMELY basic, so get what you pay for. Toilets, handwashing and showers were pretty nasty but honestly wouldn’t stop me from coming again!

Gostou Camping area is neat and good location close to the beach. It is rustic and very basic so be aware of this. Drive through a bit of scrapyard into the field at the back which is secluded and feels a bit like a wild camp.

Não gostou Overpriced for the super basic facilities. Fine for a rustic/wild camp out. Toilets were clean but very old, kitchen area basic but clean while there. Same for the showers. So expect of a “wild / rustic” camp experience. If they charged half the price it would be more fair for what you get.

Gostou The showers were warm and the field was flat and good

Não gostou It was overall just mank. You enter through what looks to be a junkyard, the toilet block is very dirty, and at least when I was there there wasn't any soap. Also the sink is a giant trough that doesn't drain all the water, and since it hadn't been cleaned for a while, it was mank.

The showers were grim with other peoples soaps, shavers and sandles left in there, implying that they haven't been cleaned in a long time.

Gostou Quiet. Nice walk to deserted beach. Facilities basic but functional. Handy to have a mechanic on site when you drive over a firepit on the way out. Great site for watching the meteor showers

Gostou I personally love this place and am gutted that it's not open over winter, I would happily stay here at least once a month if it was, I go away for 2 nights every 2 weeks and this became one of my favourite sites over the summer, perfect base for exploring the local beaches and coastal walks, bus a short walk away literally 5 mins takes you to cromer or mundesley, I liked it so much I kept booking extra days because I didn't want to go home.
It's basic but I love it, I had the best time exploring, painting, reading, walking and meeting some locals at the Tiki bar down the road, found a couple or fossils on trimingham beach and walked to mundesley along the beach.
You do have to walk for a bit to get to the trail/road down the cliffs you need to go through a caravan park to access it or by car it's a bit further down.
Cannot wait for it to re open, I will be booking plenty of weekends for me both solo/with dog and with my children.

Gostou Great location only a short drive to Cromer. Was greeted by owner on our way in really friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Gostou Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space for £20 and if your looking for basic it’s perfect
