Gostou Our visit to Magpie Meadow was perfect in every way. Tina and James were so helpful, kind and friendly.
Great dog walks directly from the campsite - the little info hut had all that you needed to be able to do them.
The rechargeable showers were brilliant - there is now hot water on site which made filling the bucket effortless.
The pitches were all a good size with a lovely ‘wild’ area of grass between each one. We stayed on a woodland EHU which gave us our very own garden with picnic bench and fire pit (logs can be purchased).
The site was kept immaculately clean, yet still keeping to the eco ethos. This is one of the best sites we have ever stayed at….we will be back!

Gostou We received a wonderfully warm and friendly welcome on arrival, which continued throughout our stay. The facilities were immaculate and exceptionally well maintained. Our pitch was fantastic—we especially loved the neatly mown area surrounded by beautiful meadow grass. The little piece of private woodland was an amazing thought too. It’s clear that Tina and James put a tremendous amount of care and effort into keeping this place so clean, tidy, and inviting. A thoughtful touch was the bucket provided for collecting recyclable waste (we’ll definitely be getting one ourselves!).

Não gostou Some fellow campers showed a lack of respect for others’ privacy and personal space on their pitches. This isn’t a reflection on the owners—just the inconsiderate behaviour of a few individuals.

Gostou Spacious pitched close to nature, good accessibility by car. Good toilets and fire pits.
Nice location close to the sea (15 minutes by car)

Não gostou No hot water and no hot showers.
Limited possibilities to walk into nature as the walking path that supposed to start at the campsite was blocked by people who said it was private

Do gerente: Thank you for your review and we are very pleased you enjoyed your stay .
We clearly say on the information on the pitch up site we do not have hot water ! For our campers who like the low impact camping experiences this doesn’t cause a concern .
Unfortunately you took an over grown service track to the campsite which is private . We have many public footpaths which take you through the Nofolk county side one which runs directly from our gate from the campsite into North Walsham . This clearly was a miss understanding we have lots of information in the campsite hut on footpaths and the local area or any of the staff could have advised you .

Gostou Spacious pitches, great to have the option of the woodland pitches especially in the heat with dogs.

Gostou Really spacious pitches and lovely owners - they couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful! It’s very back to basics but we liked that.

Não gostou It can be a little noisy due to the road but it isn’t too bad (we were in a tent) the showers are very basic with just a hand pump (not a dislike just an observation!)
