Gostou: Very nice pitch - lots of space, good mixture of shade and sun, plenty of grass around the hardstanding, little picnic benches between the pitches. Great views and a footpath through the big nextdoor field to walk in. The kids liked seeing the cows.

All the facilities were excellent, clean and in good repair.

The beer garden was perfect for a family on a summer evening - it has a nice little playground for the kids, an outdoor bar, a BBQ for burgers and pizza including a children's menu, and lots of outdoor picnic tables with shade.

The pub has cask ale inside (which is great to have on a campsite) - they had three pumps but only one was on.

Não gostou: Some very minor quibbles:

Bring cash if you want to eat and drink - the outdoor BBQ was cash only, the pub did cashback but ran out of cash, and the card reader at the outdoor bar kept losing signal. It all worked out in the end but it would have been a lot faster with cash.

They had Hobgoblin Gold, which is a great ale for a sunny evening, but they didn't have any casks outside so we had to go all the way round to the front of the pub to get it.

WiFi and mobile phone signal were spotty - the WiFi was good in the beer garden but our pitch was too far from the router to pick it up.

Gostou: A well cared for site in a picturesque location. Toilet and shower facilities are spotless and are cleaned regularly. There's some lovely walks nearby and a pub for a few beers afterwards.

Gostou: Very clean, very welcoming and no noise from the pub when camping. Excellent facilities. Dog friendly and reasonably priced. Electric hook up available and water on pitch.

Gostou: The space of each pitch was great, the site was spotless as were the showers and toilets. The water at pot wash was warm which was rare at other sites. The pub on site had gud entertainment on and our Sunday lunch ther was amazing. Staff great and had good wi fi

Gostou: Loved it , best showers and toilets seen yet , so clean and modern , relaxed campsite , clean, and pitches were a brilliant size . Definitely go back .

Gostou: Fab stopover site !!! Beautiful location, lovely pub, super new spotlessly clean loo’s & shower, nice friendly owner. Great dog walks too - High recommend PLUS we had added bonus of VE Day celebrations (superb live singer & DJ)

Gostou: We stopped over here for one night travelling from Cumbria to Gloucestershire. So glad we did. We will definitely revisit and stay for more days. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The facilities were in excellent condition and very clean.

The pizzas were freshly cooked and delicious. The pub beer garden was friendly .
Plenty of room on each pitch.

Gostou: Site was very clean and tidy, lovely new toilet and showers, outside pizza n burgers, outside bar and alcoholic slushy bar. Very friendly staff, excellent food served in the onsite pub. Convenient for the potteries and lovely walks from the site. Surrounded by scenic views. Lovely playground and plenty of play area for children. Will definitely visit again

Não gostou: The grey wast disposal point. We found it difficult to lift our waste container over the high sink. Needs a lower sink or a ramp and landing

Gostou: The welcoming atmosphere, the very clean toilets and shower and the spaciousness of the pitch. It was also very quiet at night. I would recommend Charlie Bassett’s to everyone.
