Banish any visions of a stressy holiday stuck in hot cars and slow traffic out of your head… At North Shore Holiday Centre, a family-friendly Lincolnshire site 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Skegness, you won’t have to travel far to stay busy once you arrive. North Shore is on the outskirts of Skegness, and there’s plenty of seaside resorty things to do within easy reach of the site: the sandy beach, pier and town centre are all within walking distance, and you’ll have to drive for less than 15 minutes to get to the museum, nature reserve, aquarium or theme park. There’s tons to keep you busy on site too: play a round of miniature golf, perfect your end-game at the nine-hole pitch and putt, have a go at bowls or boules, try out the arcade games and go game-set-match on the tennis courts. Feeling peckish? There are oodles of eateries within 25 minutes’ walk of North Shore, or you can settle in for a meal on site – call in to the fully-licensed bar-restaurant, then stick around for the evening’s entertainment.

Gostou Our 2nd visit to North Shore in our motorhome and we love it, mainly for the convenience of the 10-15 mins walk to the seafront and centre of Skegness as many campsites are in the middle of nowhere which is fine if you just want peaceful
It has good facilities, well stocked shop, pub with nightly bingo and entertainment, amusements. Shower block etc is fine but you have to use a card to access so we always get a couple, you have to pay £20 deposit for each card but you get it back obviously when you return your cards
We had fully serviced pitch which are a decent size. Overall a nice reasonably priced site, close to town with plenty of amenities and we will definitely be back

Gostou The pitch was fab, shower block and toilet facilities really clean and maintained.
Bus stop outside to Ingoldmells and within easy walk to skegness town and beach, so location perfect.
Pub on site that did breakfast too, park lovely for kids too.

Gostou Fantastic site. Facilities were amazing. Club house, entertainement, bingo most nights (of not every night). Good in the restaurant was lovely and not over priced. Touring pitches very well maintained and flat. Will definitely be returning.

Kids will want to dive into the aquarium, the fairground and the brightly lit amusements of the pleasure pier, while grownups might have more appreciation for the Naturelands seal sanctuary or The Village, Church Farm open-air museum. Want something for everyone? The entire family should be entertained with trips to Fantasy Island theme park (in nearby Ingoldmells), the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway and the stock car and bangers racing at Skegness Raceway, all within 10 minutes of the site. When you want to take your adventuring beyond the bounds of the seaside town, you can find peace 15 minutes away from the thrill rides and squealing tyres with visits to Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve or the flat Lincolnshire Wolds for cycling and walking trails, or by making a pitstop at the spectacular Gunby Hall and Gardens for a taste of splendour. For a quirkier outing, make your way a little further afield for a night at the Kinema in the Woods, believed to be the only full-time cinema in the UK still using rear projection for screenings. Screen one is home to an organ covered in 18th-century-style lacquered consoles and screen two has trompe l’oeil-style paintings of rural Lincolnshire on its walls.
