Old Leake Leisure Park

The whole surroundings is peaceful. The site is hidden away and shops and food places very close by. Owners very friendly and nice people.

Unfortunately there was a storm with very high winds so was unable to stay there at the time but 100% will be booking next year and hopefully stay there. X.

Very quite, nice level field. Lovely to meet Mike who works hard to look after the place.

Basic but very pleasant campsite, with a great host. Supermarket right nearby. Quite near to a main road, but far away enough for it not to be a problem. Highly recommended.

We telephoned ahead to say we would be arriving after 6:00 but had to leave a message. Nobody phoned back. On arrival, it was unclear where the site was as we saw no sign. (It may have been hidden by the bins) The office was closed. There was a phone number to ring on the door but again I had to leave a message. Nothing to say he was dealing with something else etc The site was busy. No indication where our pitch was, no notice on the door, nothing. I tried ringing again and still no answer. Another couple with a family arrived also and didn't know where to pitch. A total shables! Very poor. We drove home instead.

Mike, very friendly helpful and welcoming character. you can see he works very hard on the campsite and would solve any issues your having. looks very strangely like Mick Jagger too..

we felt very uncomfortable with the workers (and their families) living on site. all the Static caravans seemed to be rented out to foreign workers. the one washer machine at the facilities block was in constant use by these guys and no one had a chance to get anywhere near it. on arrival back to the site on our second day one of the families at the entrance had built themselves a brick BBQ and were having a small gathering at the entrance to the park with their music playing. this made my wife feel very uncomfortable and she did not feel comfortable leaving the caravan to use any of the facilities on site.
big shame, because as I said mike seems a great guy but having workers living on site seems like a bad move. (or at least move all the statics onto the rear field out the way from holiday makers)

Very friendly and helpful manager, Mike made us feel very welcome right from the start.
Generous sized plot, with easy access to power and drinking water.
Toilets and shower block are showing their ages slightly, but they were regularly cleaned and kept tidy and there was always plenty of hot water.
Good locations, close to the village of Old Leake, with a Co-op, Fish & Trip shop and a couple of pubs within a short walk. There is also an excellent cafe, the Travellers Rest, a 5 minute bike ride away that offers an excellent breakfast from 7am.
I would be happy to stay here again.

Super friendly welcome from Mike, who was very obliging when I said we were delaying our pitch up of the our tent due to the horrific rain and winds!! Nice flat field and not too long to walk to the toilets, wash area and showers. Good base to explore the surrounding area.

Shower block very run down and definitely needs a refurb. Toilets not the best either, very basic. Lots of run down caravans with workers on site.

I fully recommended this side . Owner of this side is really friedly, helpfull. On side you can find showers, toilet, washing mashines. May is not modern showers and toilet but is keeping clean. To shop co operativ is about 5 min walk.

Quiet, Mike the owner was a lovely chap and very helpful,20 mins drive to the coast, toilets was a very short walk away which was regularly cleaned
