Gostou: Great pub. Lovely peaceful field. Friendly helpful Manager. Close to Morrisons & Leominster Town.

Não gostou: Only 1 shower in the back of the pub & only toilet when pub is locked was a portaloo.

Gostou: Location was good. Close to down and only 5mins walk to a large morrisons for provisions. Noted there is electric hook up with water next to some hardstanding and grass pitches and these have been updated recently. The site is tidy and flat.. the added benefit of a pub that's recently been taken over. There's been a lot of improvement to the pub and outside space there's a great pub garden and inside is very presentable with a good selection of drinks and great value for money meals. The pub also provided a breakfast menu.. and j can recommend the breakfast. The only work in progress is the shower is tired however it's free and provides plenty of hot water. There are plans to provide a shower block at some point. Wc is provided by a porta loo when the pub is closed orherwise pub wc a available.

Não gostou: If being picky the portal.loo as seen better days. It needs the wc.and showers sorting but what's available is ok .

Gostou: Basic camp site with a lot of potential. Leominster and the surrounding area has a lot to offer for young and old. The pub itself has recently been taken over and the new owners are very attentive, offering great food and and a wonderful atmosphere. We were looking for a site with a pub offering basic amenities. This place is great and their plans for the site are very ambitious but with make the site an excellent place to stay.

Não gostou: Field was unkempt, building type rubbish and general detritus around the fences and edges of the field, not dog friendly as advertised. Pub is old and dilapidated. The impression given in the advertising is surrounded by countryside - not true, it’s on a main road through a housing estate. There is not a restaurant, food can be ordered, it’s all fried / microwaved and not of good quality. In all a poor situation, we decided to leave on the Saturday and give up the 2 nights.

Gostou: Very nice area. Easy walk to the little town of Leominster. The hosts are absolutely lovely nothings to much trouble. It just needs better facilities but that is something they are working on.

Não gostou: There is quite a lot of road noise.

Gostou: After reading previous reviews i was sceptical, but the place wasnt as bad as i thought, yes it was basic but what do you expect for the price. Toilets were basic but clean, the pitch was well kept and clean.

Não gostou: No one there to greet you, could of done with a sign saying you pick your own pitch.

Gostou: Friendly staff, the warm welcome. I messaged Floyd before to ask if we could bring dogs in to the pub. He was prompt in replying, funny and polite. Dogs are allowed in the back bar. This place has got so much potential and Floyd and staff have achieved alot since May. We had the best weekend! Nice walk into little town and handy for Morrisons.

Gostou: Not much to like I'm afraid. However! This could be an excellent site but, it needs a good influx of cash and an adventurous imagination.

Não gostou: When arrived, the pub was not open. After waiting for a short while someone came, advised us, we could pick a pitch and that the electric hook up should be working. Due to the fact I'm on 12 hours of oxygen, my machine needs to be plugged in, to recharge. At this point I was worried and upset. Luckily the first one worked. The toilet and shower facilities are those used by the pub. They had left them open although the pub was shut. I must mention though that the shower was 'out of order' The pub is shut Monday and Tuesday and they only serve food Thursday's to Sundays. I really hate to moan. This site has so much potential and I am aware the new owners only took it over in May. I think possibly, it would have been better to get the site up and running together with the pub, before opening. We left the next day even though we paid for three nights. I have NEVER done that before. I do apologise now to the owners. I will definitely keep an eye out for Barons Cross, track its progress and we may very well book again, once, facilities are upgraded and fully functional. Keep at it 👍.
