Não gostou Nothing - although I’m glad I wasn’t nearer to the farm with chickens wandering into my campsite 😁

Gostou Second visit and once again great site … facilities spotless , lots of space , great location , fab wardens …

Gostou Good check in and out times, clean toilet and showers the park was full capacity and everything was spotless. Staff went round and told a few people to keep the noise down which they did. policy is no noise after 11pm.
There's lots of space for children to play

Gostou Large plots (can park next to tent with loads of room), clean toilets (with plugs and a mirror), polite and helpful staff, very well ran. Lovely view with cows in the neighbouring field.

Não gostou More toilets and sinks would’ve been handy for the amount of people on the site
And a shelf or counter top to put your stuff next to the sinks
Perhaps a bigger freezer and it was jam packed
10/15 min walk to the local pub where we had a lovely meal

Gostou Very friendly wardens, informative and super easy process to check in.
Showers etc were in plentiful supply, very clean and warm too.
The location is really handy for many wonderful places in the Peak District, it’s well connected road wise but there isn’t traffic noise even though it’s close- fantastic!! Lovely views, and friendly fellow campers.

Não gostou My minor gripe is a shower to stay on- they are push ones but you don’t get long. If you’ve got long hair like me it’s a pain.

Gostou A lovely, clean, quiet campsite and really friendly staff.
Amazing views, nice flat pitches and even washing up liquid, sponges and soap were provided.

Gostou We liked everything about this camp from our friendly welcoming to flat ground
The showers and washing up areas are spotless
There's absolutely nothing to dislike and we will return time and again (thankyou)

Não gostou There was just one thing my partner never had WiFi or signal and hes the principal carer for his elderly momma bear and he likes to touch base with her twice daily phone calls if hes not around in person
Luckily I had so he was able to reach her on my phone however none of us are bothered about going off grid to be perfectly honest thats why we camp but just for that peace of mind in anycase im sure the camp owners would let us use their phone if needed be so it hasn't put us off

Não gostou Stated online fires aloud, they weren’t aloud…. only reason we came here. then spoken to very rudely by owner, wouldn’t recommend.

It still amazes us that despite all the media coverage on wild fires throughout the UK, that campers still arrive expecting to be able to use open fires/BBQs with no lids etc. On arrival you were told at great length how we had taken the decision to prohibit the use of open fires on the site whilst the exceptionally dry ground conditions continue. However, you decided that the rules did not apply to you and later that evening lit your fire pit. That is not demonstrating responsible behaviour during this period of drought. The wardens attended your pitch and after, what I would describe as a confrontational situation, you eventually extinguished your fire. Whilst we do generally allow open fires as advertised on our website, there are occasions where it is unsafe to allow these practices to continue and as stated in our Terms and Conditions, relating to Force Majeure.
