California Chalet and Touring Park

Gostou: Very clean and tidy. Shower blocks in keeping with its surroundings. Showers very clean and plenty of hot water. I arrived late but all the details were easily accessible in the late arrival box. A lovely site with great walks and surrounding woodlands.i would recommend this site without hesitation.

Não gostou: Very minor, WIFI not great and I had poor phone reception (phone not the sites fault) we do like to watch a Netflix film or football but unable to due to WiFi. Not everyone’s cup of tea but important to me.

Gostou: Very nice, super clean and quiet site close to a series lovely short walks

Não gostou: aircraft noise not too bad but some planes at medium height approaching Heathrow but that is the case of all of this area

Gostou: Friendly welcome on arrival, given map of park and fob to open gate. Site was very clean and well maintained. Clean toilets and shower block. Lovely location, and enjoyed nice walk around the lake. One of the nicest sites we have been to.

Não gostou: Under flight path, so woken by aeroplanes in morning. Not sure where we were supposed to empty our toilet cassette, as it was for liquids only!

Gostou: Proximity to country park for lake and woodland walks. Clean and tidy site. Quiet.

Não gostou: Shower and toilet block need updating. Chemical disposal point needs updating.

Gostou: The facility was peaceful and safe. The owner helpful and the nature around was beautiful. Lake 10 second walk from my pitch and you can fish there. Also really good playground 3 min walk from my pitch

Gostou: Set in a beautiful location with lovely walks around the lake. Close to Legoland and Windsor Castle.Clean , quite site. Lovely clean toilet and showers with heating on. Loved watching the squirrels.

Não gostou: Could do with bigger machines in launderette and quite expensive. WiFi and television very poor.

Gostou: A lovely site set in a lovely country park ideal for cycling with lots to see bus stop just outside of the park which goes to Wokingham 20 minutes or Reading The site is very well maintained and the facilities were good highly recommended and will return

Gostou: A lovely quiet site, with great clean facilities. Was initially busy on arrival, but visitors tapered off as the week went in. Large pitch, fully serviced. Staff super friendly and helpful. Always felt very safe there as a solo female traveller.

Não gostou: Not being able to dispose of anything but liquid in the chemical toilet disposal is tricky , I’d already put tissue in the unit.

Gostou: This was an amazing site. The staff went out their way to provide good service. Our pitch was huge and provided some very needed shade. The toilets and showers are clean. The ladies has recently been decorated. The best hair dryer I have ever seen on a campsite.
