Parcela na trawiastym podłożu z podłączeniem do prądu
Polubione It’s a big site if you’re off grid camping
Niepolubione This place promises a lot, but delivers very little. We’ve stayed at many sites across the country and unfortunately, this was probably one of the worst we’ve stayed experienced
First impressions weren’t great. Reception was dowdy, the welcome completely lacking in personality, and the so-called shop was barely worthy of the description. Sadly, things didn’t improve from there.
The river was one of the main things that attracted us, particularly as the site is advertised as having a river running through it. Technically it may do, but the main field is so far away that you realistically needed to drive to it. Definitely not the riverside camping experience the description suggests.
The shower facilities were another low point. The cubicles were postage-stamp sized, with nowhere sensible to get changed privately. You were effectively expected to shower in the tiny cubicle and then dry and get dressed in a communal changing area. Not something I’d expect from a campsite of this size.
The whole place felt sprawling, unloved, dowdy, with very little to no atmosphere.
If you’re off grid, the one positive is its sheer size. If you want to disappear into a field away from everyone, you could probably find a very isolated position and be perfectly happy, but you’d need to drive to use the facilities. We walked around the perimeter one day and found a few feasible human turds!
For us, it promised considerably more than it delivered. We left wondering how somewhere that sounded so good on paper could feel quite so disappointing in reality. No farm, no shop, no restaurant (closing down). We certainly wouldn’t return.

Od administratora: There were 100 pitches checking in along with yourselves and only 1 person on reception which makes welcoming each individual very difficult when guests become impatient waiting in a queue. From your pitch to the river is approximately a 6 minute walk or you can drive if you prefer. The grass looks unloved at the moment due to the lack of rain, little to no atmosphere is what each guests brings with them, couples and families enjoying each others company, perhaps you mean a club house would improve the atmosphere for you. Many guests bring their own facilities to avoid a long walk or a drive to the toilets, I am surprised you found a few feasible human turds as none have ever been found by any staff including maintenance(a phone call to reception would have been able to identify any findings). There are 2 toilet and shower blocks, in the larger one there is 1 hook on the inside of the showers for towels (shampoo etc.. would have to be placed on the floor as shelves would reduce the amount of space and 1 hook on the outside to hang clothes or a bag on. The other block has a changing area inside each shower. When you look to book through Pitch-up it says the farm and park is closed,it is a small shop within the office for basics, drinks, ice-creams etc. The Brewers Fayre is not closing it is due to have new owners, there is a seafood stall and a Chinese restaurant opening soon plus local takeaways deliver to the touring barrier.

Polubione The location is stunning with views down a valley and across countryside. The organiser is the most welcoming friendly host I've ever encountered on a camp site. It was clean and tidy and it made for an excellent weekend. Thanks Tiz
Niepolubione Nothing!
