On arrival we missed the check in desk as I was reading the confirmation email to get the gate code and to check if we needed to check in as the initial email did not confirm this so we missed the check in shed which is also the same colour as other buildings so we wasn’t sure if that was toilet/washrooms etc so was a genuine miss but the lady who I assume is the owner was very rude to us shouting at us then stormed off about this which does not give a nice first impression as we had only just arrived. I appreciate that she apologised but this is not good customer service when this was a genuine miss. We considered just turning back to go home as this was not nice.
Pitch was awful as we paid for hard standing but this was not it was just mud

There is an incline due to the geography of the site to the toilet block from some of the pitches, we do offer guests with mobility issues pitches nearer to the toilet block.

Great location two dog friendly and welcoming pubs 5 mins walk away and a beautiful reservoir to walk around They have an Indian takeaway van every Saturday which is a must. We have stayed a few times and have recommended to friends who have also stopped

Thank you for bringing to our attention some of the issues you experienced.
To reassure you the remnants from the ceramic toilet have now been removed, we are not sure where you saw leaking old pipes. The old toilet block as been completely gutted out including all pipe work which would not have gone down as far as the field as we have a septic tank. We will keep looking for what might look like old pipes.
We do plan next year to sell a small selection of food items this is in our future plans.

Niepolubione: The fact we could not use the grass outside the motorhome and had to move it forward to the edge of the pitch to enable ckear access and egress to our outfit. The showerblocks when wet as no one appeared to be keeping them clear of water. Better floor drainage just inside the door would help.

We are sorry to hear that you ad some trouble siting your Motorhome and would hope that a stay in the future we would be able to sort a more appropriate pitch to suit your needs.
The toilet floors do get wet during heavy prolonged rain especially when the door is left open for the rain to come into the doorway. We do mop and clear the water from the doorways as often as we can during the day and provide mops and squeegee for customers to use especially when showering.
