Lovely clean peaceful site really relaxing xx

Quiet and peaceful break beautiful view from my motorhome shower block very clean and staff very friendly

Occasional smell seemed like it was coming from a caravan next to us looked like waste hog not been moved in a long time

The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and there was plenty of hot water. We made use of the Indian takeaway service on the Saturday afternoon too, which was the best Indian we’ve ever had.

The setting is lovely , the hot tub , the bathroom and the bed was comfortable

The horrible green fake grass , it was soaking wet from a rain shower and stayed soaking wet , different flooring on the outside would have made it so much easier with the baby, shoes , and access to the hot tub. It would be nice if the Cleaning included under the sofas

This was our first ever outing in our van and we absolutely loved the park. It was clean and everyone was really friendly! The couple running the site were very helpful and friendly - coming to help us out, as they knew this was our first time! The play area was excellent and our son spent the whole weekend making friends there

We have stayed at lots of sites over the years. This site was top of the list for worse sites we have visited and one of the most expensive. First on arriving reception, staff were rude, unwelcoming and noticed we were a pitch up booking, we then had to hear how much they dislike pitch up and all that was wrong with pitch up. Not what I needed to listen to after travelling 3 hours on the motorway. Then they charged extra for children as apparently we hadn't paid for them. This was a first using pitch up for 4 years and never not booked/ had my kids paid for before. Ridings wood if you don't like pitch up - don't use them. Your customers don't need to hear how bad they are on arrival and I suspect the majority of your bookings are though them- so they do provide you with an income. pitch was difficult to get on to with caravan, taking rather a lot of effort for my husband to get our caravan on without hitting a high stone kerb, Not helped by a one way system meaning only one way to pitch and trying to avoid packed in tents to close to allow turning/reversing caravan in to pitch, and then add only way to do it is by getting wheel spin on grass- we weren't alone everyone in our row had the same problem. Gravel fully serviced pitch was run down and didn't qualify for the price tag attached. Site was way to busy and Very overpriced for what was provided. One toilet block for whole site which was to small for amount of people on site, disgusting, dirty and lacking toilet paper. Barely anywhere to move due to always having people in. Conveyer belt for sinks. Join the line to clean your teeth using taps that spray water everywhere. Showers unpleasant, no where to put stuff and floor cleanness seen better days. It was obvious from reception and being on site it is run by a management who only care about the money, not the customer experience. On leaving site we went on to another site, paid less than half the price of a night here , lovely pitch/site with 3 toilet blocks 5 times the size site- which just confirmed how poor Ridding wood was for the money.

Leuke omgeving met winkels/restaurants/pubs op auto/fiets afstand. Lopen 20+ minuten
Vriendelijk ontvangst en goede tips qua restaurants.
Super net en schoon sanitair. Er zijn 2 gebouwen maar 1 zat er dicht dus die kan ik niet beoordelen.
Kat Winston is erg aanhankelijk.

Sommige plekken zijn ongelijk en hobbelig, daar hadden wij er 1 van. We kregen onze combinatie niet waterpas.
Weinig en grof grind, waardoor bij regen de voortent flappen modderig worden.
Wij vonden het geen probleem maar er was geen wifi

We as a family loved everything about our little break at Riddings wood, we all loved the hot tub and the communal fire fit, the lodge was great had everything we needed
