Wonderful site, very peaceful. Plenty room on each pitch. Toilet and shower block immaculate. Friendly staff. Will definitely book again.

Clean tidy site did not have to pay extra for shower the waking in the nearby wood's is very nice

The pitches are not very good if you take a awning very uneven and not level before we booked I looked on the Internet and it said that there was free WiFi No WiFi would not of booked if I had known this when I ask about this the staff where not interested

The pitch itself was lovely and tidy, we were lucky to not be pitched on the hill.
The toilet/shower facilities were spotlessley clean and warm. The owners were lovely and friendly 😊

Unfortunately, the location for us was not the best. There was a lot of road noise throughout the day and in to the late evenings with "boy racer" fast car noises. A lot of back firing exhausts, which wasn't nice for our "gun shy" noise sensitive Labrador.
It's also near to a busy train line so you can hear that noise too.
Also, Unfortunately some people did not follow the rules of "quiet" time after 11, as there was still children running around and screaming at midnight and again waking us up at 3.30am.

Play area, location and pitch were quite nice.
Shower and toilet area very clean.

Electric hookup for pitch 16 had been incorrectly installed. So reversed polarity.
Spoke to those running the site and although couldn't move pitches offered us their cable. So I could hook up on another pitch with 35m of cable. Which worked fine and solved the issue.

In the morning went to go for a shower but no water to showers and toilets until about 10am when it was back in. No idea on the issue but least it got resolved same day. Just a shame.

Nothing

The lodge was extremely clean and cosy. It came fully equipped and the staff were more than helpful. The location was ideal for visiting a variety of locations such as Bakewell and Matlock to name a few.

Nothing however left in the night due to the cold and a flat airbed my bad

It was very sunny and convenient for the M1. Price was good value compared to other Campsites.

Thie pitch [16l was sloping even with big levellers, If it had rained it would have been a mud pitch.
The 'new ' toilet cabin had jnsufficient hooks or places to put clothes etc when showering so I'd recommend the owners actually have a go at showering themselves to see how annoying that is. The shower space was cramped and nothing to stop water from spalshing on the clean dry clothes.

The lodge was very clean and spacious, hot tub was very well looked after. Staff were lovely and the area was peaceful.

We liked everything.
