Polubione From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The setup was immaculate, with cozy, well-equipped tents that felt more than anything you'd expect in the great outdoors. The attention to detail was incredible — comfy beds, twinkling fairy lights, and even a fire pit for marshmallow toasting under the stars.

The kids had an absolute blast! From the nature trails in the woodland, feeding the goats and outdoor games. It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation for the whole family.

Jill and Dave were so friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt effortless. We didn’t want to leave — and we’re already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a magical escape with all the charm of camping but none of the hassle, this is the place. Can’t recommend it enough!

Polubione What an amazing weekend spent at Alderwood, they really have thought of everything from BBQ, Fridge, clean toilets with hot showers, I could not recommend this site enough.
Our favourite surprise was the fire pit in the wood… thank you so much for a wonderful stay… we are booking again next year x

Polubione This was our second year visiting this lovely little glamping site and we'll be back again next summer.
Beautiful bell tents set in a fantastic field, from where you can barely see that modern life exists. So tranquil (but lots of sheep 🐑 and baaing especially as they settle in the evening lol)
Everything thought of in the tents for self catering and a fab little stove to warm the tent if needed. Great shower/toilet blocks - composting toilet but really easy to use and clean.
Jill and David are very helpful and responsive to any issues or queries.
Highly recommend this place for a chance to get off grid and reset mentally.

Polubione We loved staying at Alderwood, the site was so beautiful. We couldn’t fault our stay - there was so much thought put into the site. The tents were gorgeous - lots of thoughtful touches like having a gas stove, all the cutlery, pans etc you’d need. Even tea bags, a tea towel and washing up liquid! We were very happy there was a solar- powered big fridge and freezer just steps from our tent - made cooking and morning cups of tea a breeze. The bathroom was lovely with hot water and only shared with one other tent. It was cleaned a few times during the week so never got too smelly with the compost loo. Our little girl had an absolute blast running around the field and feeding the lambs and goats. The site was peaceful and no animals in the field we were sleeping in. David and Jill were wonderful hosts and really went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Lots of gorgeous surrounding towns to visit - we loved the national trust property near Shrewsbury and the water splash park in Shrewsbury town centre. We will be telling friends about this magical place and can’t wait to come back!
