Welcome to Pomme de Chien Campsite... We are a peaceful family run campsite, that offers large areas suitable for playing games. We pride ourselves in our modern purpose built facility block which is cleaned regularly and contains free hot showers, washbasins and toilets. Campers may opt for one of our large fully equipped tents, or you may bring your own. We provide freezer facilities for ice packs and we do ask that there is no noise after 11pm due to being a family run campsite. Also pets are not allowed. Children under 16 may also camp if a contact number is provided. Fully Equipped Tents - available May to September We offer a selection of tents of various sizes, all are fully equipped. Bring your own tent - open all year round We provide flat areas with views of the sea and valley. Charges are based on either daily or weekly rates (that includes all the use of the facilities) as follows: Deposits - Only necessary if booking, booking is strongly advised with all our fully equipped tents. - Site Only - £10 Per Tent - Fully Equipped Tent - £100 - £150 (depending on the size of the tent required) Fees - Own Tent(s), charged per person per night - £8.50 per Adult - £5.00 per Child - Fully Equipped Tents From £15 - £30 pppn (depending on the size of the tent/number of persons & number of nights required) Tents are checked before arrival and on departure, damage and loss of equipment will be charged for.

Wskazówki dojazdu

The Isle of Sark Shipping Company operates a regular service between Guernsey and Sark throughout the summer, with a reduced service in Winter. The are fewer sailings on Sunday. Passengers disembark at La Maseline Jetty. Our Carter Jimmy, will transport your luggage to and from the harbour if you so wish (a charge is made for each bag seperately by the Carter). Please make sure that your bags are clearly labeled 'Pomme De Chien Campsite' or 'Rang's Campsite'. The path up the Harbour Hill is a pleasant 15 minute walk. It is however, steep in places and you may alternatively travel up the hill by the tractor-bus locally known as the toast-rack. A charge applies for each single journey. The region at the top of the Harbour Hill is known as La Collinette. From here turn left at the cross roads, near the Natwest Bank and follow the track down before taking the second right. Then follow the path round to the left. On arrival please call at the house at the end of the lane before pitching your tents to sign in.

Sark is a picturesque Island and probably most famous because there are no cars allowed. Bicycles, horsedrawn carriages and tractors provide the only transport, making Sark the ideal destination for those seeking peace and tranquility. The Island is a plateau surrounded by spectacular, three hundred foot cliffs, small bays with brilliantly clear water, that nestle between jagged outcrops and provide excellent bathing and fishing etc. Walks through wooded valleys and scrambles over the rocky coastline lead to a variety of impressive pools and caves. The Avenue with general stores, post office and a variety of other shops, is only a 5 minute walk away along a quiet track. Dixcart Bay is our nearest beach which is just a 10 minute walk down a wooded footpath.
