A fabulous little campsite with everything that you need

Likte Fabulous little campsite, great heated and spotlessly clean bathrooms and showers, plenty of hot water. Pitches large and level and the grass mown and still in good condition. The site is kept very clean and tidy. I was there out of season (Oct to Apr) so can't comment on the bar, shop or reception

A wonderful site, walking distance from Ullswater and attractions
juni 2026 Likte Wonderful touring site with good facilities and helpful staff, walking distance from Ullswater and the steam ferries.
Likte ikke There is minimal mobile signal on site and wifi is chargable. It would be nice to have minimal wifi facility included to enable forward booking and basic comminication.

A great little campsite, well placed and with a good vibe.
juni 2026 Likte Fantastic location, easy to find and great for local attractions. The site was very busy and had a nice buzz while we were there
Likte ikke There appears to be only three washing up sinks, which were regularly all in use, when the site is full it really requires more. Additionally the sinks were outside, the weather was good for us so no problems but maybe more challenging in worse weather

Excellent site with helpful owner, hot showers and lovely little shop
aug. 2025 Likte Wonderful little campsite, laid back vibe, very responsive and accomodating owner. Great little honesty shop with proper coffee and delicious cakes. Probably the hotest and most spacious shower I've experienced in the UK

Excellent site, very clean facilities and wonderfully laid back vibe
apr. 2025 Likte Excellent, well run, beautiful site. The facilities are excellent, it has a wonderfully laid back vibe and the smell of woodsmoke from the log burners dotted across the site in the evening, whether it's your own or someone elses, is amazing. Pitches are a good size and the hard standings spacious
