Likte This site maybe downplays itself a bit in the listings and has a scruffy entrance but it’s really very good indeed. Super clean facilities, wide orchard pitches and the location is great for Clevedon. Great windfall apples in September.

Likte ikke Some people mention the traffic noise from the road but there is very little of it. You are more likely to bear the pleasant sound of chatting joggers, walkers and cyclist going by on the other side of the hedge.

Fra bestyreren: I love your review, the campsite is indeed the 'rose among the thorns'. If you'd seen this place when we bought it several years ago then you could appreciate just how far its come, alas there is still a derelict barn and a landscaping/building company running from the property. There is an ongoing bat issue with the derelict barn which has prevented progress but honestly, we aren't that mad about it ;) Thank you for clarifying the issue with road noise, we did have a recent comment about the train noise.......we still have no idea what train lol! We really hope to be able to welcome you back next year, thanks for a great review! :)

Likte Good for beach access and walks. Shop proved useful.

Likte ikke A little bit in need of a face-lift in some ways but a great place nonetheless.

Likte Nice layout of pitches and super easy access to Saturday parkrun. Warden very helpful when we said we would be back late from evening event. Liked watching little kids leaning to ride their bikes in the central area.

Likte A very fair price considering. A little dusty on the nicely hedged gravel pitches but the overall offering is really great with the very clean facilities, extended free entry, the free swimming and the smily staff. it’s hard to think of anywhere better to be on a sunny day.

Likte ikke Telling other people about it. It’s so good I don’t want to share 🙂

Likte Cleanliness of the site A big thankyou to the kind out of hours duty manager who helped us when our camping gaz ran out

Likte ikke Limited facilities in the washing up area, just sinks. A washer & drier & a microwave would be helpful for campervanners. Having to pay for wifi.

Likte Showers etc very good and warm. Nice location for Sheringham Park and for buses into town and through to Norwich. Good sized pitches.

Likte ikke Bar a bit gloomy inside (but fine outside). Walking and cycling instructions into Sheringham Park plainly wrong and need updating.
