Likte Lovely campsite and friendly hosts. A close drive from Calais ferry port. A lovely pond of fish by the tent pitches and it creates a beautiful sunset off the water. Stayed here for one night and overall great value for money.

Likte ikke The use of shower tokens...

Likte Lovely campsite next to the River Loire. Front gate and code for safety with clean pitches. A building including clean ablutions, washers, and showers. Below, a clean communal fridge is provided and charging ports with a table and chairs. Washing up area is clean and looked after too.

Likte ikke It would have been nice to be welcomed by the hosts and seen them.

Likte Quiet and peaceful area full of character and aesthetic. Polite and helpful host.

Likte ikke The ablutions were not clean. There is a staff member who goes round but he does not properly clean the showers, sinks or toilets. Owner has dogs that go round the campsite defecating, including in the pitches. I found feces in my own pitch and the one opposite.

Likte Lovely owners hosting a safe, secure, and quiet camp site just outside Montolieu. They offer fresh pastries courtesy of a local baker and a bar in the evenings with choices of pizza and burgers. Very clean ablutions with toilet roll and good showers. Would 100% recommend and would stay again.

Likte ikke The fee for having a fridge on the pitch. Would have preferred a free communal fridge

Pauline & Greg Thank you so much for the 10/10 and for recommending us! 😊 It's lovely to hear that you felt safe and relaxed at our little campsite. And we're glad you enjoyed the fresh pastries in the morning and a drink or a bite to eat in the evening! 🥐🍕 As for the fridge, we understand that a free communal one would have been more convenient for you. We currently offer individual fridge hire, but we appreciate the suggestion. Thanks again for staying with us. We'd love to welcome you back to Montolieu sometime! Pauline & Greg
