Facilities were lovely and we really liked the honesty box of actives and toys which kept my daughter entertained. Just had a gorgeous couple of days, fire pits at night and waking up surrounded in beauty! Oh and such great value too. Glad you liked the site, the aninals, view etc. And 8 out of 10 is great. I agree the shower block is a work in progress hopefully new external windows and external doors will vastly improve the exterior. As I am sure you saw I have started to put a new covered sink area in its side. Disappointed you thought the only sink was the cold water sink outside though? Because we have been letting people use the indoor kitchen inside the shower block that has hot and cold water a microwave a fridge cutlery kettle mugs and more. I can only think you weren't shown this as the staff believed you had your own sink?....thank you for saying you would come again please do, and hopefully see our progress as well as enjoying our special spot

Cobwebs and rubbish in the communal kitchen? I can only apologise, at present staff and guests use that little room but we do endeavour to keep things clean
The mens and ladies have 2 showers each and although the shower block is basic all should work
We have checked the showers recently as there was a fault on the one of the 2 ladies showers, we thought we had mended it?
It may have been kinder to let us know of any problems through the 24 hour mobile contact number?

The facilities are basic but all functional so you have easy access to toilets, sinks, and showers.
Ikke likt: The site is quite exposed so depending on the wind direction it can get a little breezy! Obviously the weather is not the fault of the site and nothing can be done about it, I'm mentioning it more as a 'be prepared' as we found it too windy to put up our awning or keep our pop top up the whole time.

We stayed just after a big storm and the wind was still high but you wouldn’t tell once inside. The small kitchen was perfect for what we required and there wasn’t anything we needed that we didn’t have. I can imagine in the summer it would be wonderful to have a fire outside.
