Yep darned water issues in the main shower block on and off all summer several times I thought we solved it ......hopefully we can sort it completely thro the wi ter. Thank you for understanding and for letting the other joys (and outdoor showers ) make it worth while do come again you were a lovely guest

I have absolutely no idea who would have shouted at you ?.....was it another guest?..........surely if you thought one of my crew were to shout at you it would have been good to report it?....so I can only assume you offended another guest on arrival and "before we had even unhooked and moved the van" would suggest maybe you were imposing on someone else's space/view?.....

The shower issue is an ongoing thing, after lots of effort we are now looking at plan F.....hopefully this will ensure the pressure can be increased (the water pump hasn't solved it).....thank you so much for being understanding as a small place we rely on guests like you who enjoy what we are

As for all the negative comments ?
Well I presume anyone with an average understanding of overheads would appreciate that £25 for 2 adults =£12.50 per head.....for FREE MUSIC FREE SHOWERS FREE USE OF FIRE PIT AND a huge space in a 6.5 acre agricultural hay field is good value......... yes the hay field does have a barbed wire fence....THE HAY FIELD IS USED AS FARM LAND 11 MONTHS OF THE YEAR!.......I can assure you the HEDGE is well established over hundreds of years and so can envelope the barbed wire rather than shrubs covering it up as .........my apologies if your dog free rangeing around the field managed to find it but as you have written it here rather than reporting it at the campsite I presume the dog was unharmed by their experience. Shower door..?.....this can only refer to the fire door in the showerblock building in the adjacent field......rather than the 2 compost toilets or outdoor showers in the hay field?....it is quite zealous maybe I should prop it open so it's not fit for purpose?

The shower block was built in the early 80s.....she is cleaned to a very high level every day by a wonderful lady called Christine who takes huge pride in turning my pigs ear into a not quite silk purse. Money has been spent on the building and more will be spent on it so I accept she is not hotel standard .......

Finally you say you wouldn't come again

I think that's wise we wouldn't want anyone here who doesn't appreciate the place or just doesn't "get it"....and I certainly would prefer to have guests who appreciate the joy of Sunnyhill

Glad you enjoyed the music....Cez was amazing wasn't she, you and your family seemed to enjoy it. The compost toilets aren't to everyone's taste I agree but they do save a walk to the shower block, but thank you for me turning the shower block being clean Christine will really appreciate that, she works hard to keep it clean. As for pitching a tent, yes Sunnyhill is a South facing hillside, and the hayfield is not a pitched out levelled piece of ground, there are some more level areas than where you camped though, but I thought you were enjoying being the only tent in the far valley of the field, and the space it afforded you and your family? I will endeavour to help tent dwellers to find more level ground in the future
