Legg til bedriftsinformasjonIf you like a good lot of variety on your holidays, SunLodge at Camping Italy could well be a place that suits you rather well. This Veneto site 10 minutes’ drive from Cavallino-Treporti is a place where you can choose city days in Venice or quiet time relaxing on site… go for swims at the beach or swims in the pool… and take your pick from restaurant meals or ones you’ve cooked yourself.
The beach opposite the site is quite something – it stretches for several sandy kilometres, all the way up to Lido di Jesolo, for plenty of space to paddle, swim or sunbathe. And the other swimming options are pretty good too: there’s a lovely pool on site (with a fun paddling pool for the kids) and it’s a short walk to a fab colourful waterpark for more hours of sliding and splashing.
There’s plenty more away from the water, too – games of miniature golf, tennis and beach volleyball are on hand, along with a gym, a games room and a play area with bouncy castle. A programme of kids’ activities and more grownup entertainment runs in summer, and there are all sorts of activities organised either through the site or nearby (think horse riding, canoe trips and all sorts of sea-based watersports).
Stays here are in well-equipped safari tents so you should have enough kitchen kit to sort self-catering meals (plus a food shop on site for supplies); a barbecue area is close by too. Rather take it easy? Grab a table at the restaurant, beach bar or pizzeria, or pick up a takeaway and head back to the beach.

Lokale attraksjoner
To the beach first? Good idea. It’s a lovely sandy stretch, and it’s right there by the site, with playground kit for the kids and a beach bar to provide cool drinks all day. For a bit of activity, hire surfboards and pedalos on site, or take a short walk to find facilities for windsurfing, scuba diving and sailing.
Elsewhere along the Lido di Jesolo peninsula are several family-friendly outing options including the Caribe Bay waterpark, Tropicarium animal park and Sea Life aquarium. All are within an easy 15-minute drive, and there are handy buses running up and down the peninsula too.
The big day out around here has to be a trip to Venice though – take a boat from Punta Sabbioni (15 minutes’ drive) to see St Mark’s Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge’s Palace, eat gelato in the Giardini Pubblici or ride water taxis to the islands of Murano and Burano (to see glassblowers in the former and brightly coloured houses in the latter).
