Likte ikke Lovely greeting by the owners but then oh dear ! Very small pitches and very close to each other. Too many crammed in to small area. No privacy. We were surrounded by many groups of kids on what looked like outward bounds type course. 7 tents on the Pitch next to us. Need to decide if this is a family campsite or an outwards bounds youth centre. Never again.

We are pleased that you appreciated the warm welcome from our team, as making our guests feel at home is very important to us.

We are, however, sorry that your stay for 1 night did not fully meet your expectations. Our campsite is designed as a peaceful, family-friendly campsite where campers, caravans, motorhomes and rental accommodations share the same natural setting. Our pitches comply with the standards for a 2-star campsite and are appreciated by the vast majority of our guests for their spaciousness and the unique environment of our former quarry, and 7 tents on 1 pitch small!!!

Regarding the group of young campers, they were staying as part of an organised holiday camp. These groups are welcomed only on an occasional basis and are supervised at all times. We ensure that they respect the campsite rules and the peace of other guests.

We understand that this atmosphere may not have matched what you were looking for, and we thank you for sharing your point of view.

We wish you all the best in finding a campsite that better suits your expectations for future holidays.

Likte Everything, check in, lady on reception was very friendly, helpful informative.
Fresh bread & croissants delivered to the van for breakfast every morning. Showers & toilets were clean and very good. Nice calm and relaxing atmosphere, great find & very good value.

Likte Very friendly team running the campsite. We visited on a very hot weekend and had a beautifully shady pitch. The shower and toilet facilities were plentiful and clean. There were drinks and snacks available at the site, but the town is only a 10 minute walk and has a couple of restaurants and bars to choose from. Overall I would highly recommend Les Gravelets and I'm sure I will return.

Likte This is a fabulous campsite. Run by Elodie and Thomas (assisted by Alexandra and various other friendly staff) who could not help enough. I was on my own with a small tent and felt immediately welcome, from the first second of my arrival, until I left a week later. I had planned to stay a couple of nights before moving on, but this wasn't practical and more to the point, I couldn't see the point in moving, because I could explore easily from here, but just as important, I just knew this place was hard to beat. They all work very hard to maintain the clean facilities, the little shop and bar, but just as importantly they have time for people. I will be back!

We are delighted that you enjoyed the warm welcome from our team, your spacious pitch, and the convenient location close to the supermarket and fuel station.

Thank you as well for highlighting the cleanliness of our wash facilities. Although they are not brand new, we take great pride in keeping them spotless and well maintained.

Regarding the toilet seats and toilet paper, this is a deliberate choice common in many French campsites. Toilet paper is not available for the campsite 2 stars. We understand that this may be surprising for visitors from other countries and appreciate your feedback.
