Legg til bedriftsinformasjonThis place really is a bit of a must. Based in the Belgian Ardennes in lush green surroundings near Ave-et-Auffe, Camping Le Roptai will tick your holiday musts in all directions – setting, activities, region and vibe are all tiptop.
Your handsome base is on the southern slope of a hill, in a forest on the edge of the Ardennes and in a sloping area full of valleys, rivers, woodland and pretty Walloon villages. There's stacks to do on and off site: make a visit to Le Roptai's reception an early stop for reams of info on local tourist attractions as well as on what's happening around the grounds; themed nights, performances and arts and crafts are among the activities and events laid on in high season for all ages.
Going free range, there's a fine outdoor pool to spend significant time at during the summer months, a sports area with volleyball court, football pitch, two table tennis tables and two pétanque lanes, and a fab playground with jungle gym for ages up to 12 (send the kids off to this last while you keep an eye out from the terrace of La Caret, the site snack bar and canteen).
Off site – because you really will want to get out and about around here – Camping Le Roptai's Wallonia setting is half a kilometre from Ave-et-Auffe on the border of the Namur and Luxembourg provinces, with easy access to outdoor activities like canoeing on the Lesse as well as popular family attractions like the Euro Space Center. The Ardennes Natural Regional Park is 35 minutes to the west; going north, it's the same distance from the site to the city of Namur.

Pick up the Valle de Lesse bilingual brochure at reception for all the info you need on its top tourist attractions such as the Han caves and the animal park in Han-sur-Lesse, each five minutes' drive away, or the Euro Space Center within 15. Sailing and kayaking on the Lesse are also close by.
