That’s why we’ve gathered some of our favourite nearby towns and attractions for you to visit, we’re confident that there’s something for everyone! The vast landscape, towering cliffs, rolling hills and lush valleys of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty make this region a true gem, and we’re so lucky to have it on our doorstep! Amon the dramatic coastlines and undulating hills are so many towns, villages and attractions that are bursting with character, just waiting to be discovered. From natural beauty to retro tramways, here are some of the nearby attractions and locations that we love to recommend to our guests. As one of the most popular holiday destinations in the country, you shouldn’t be surprised to hear that Devon is buzzing with fantastic days out, from family attractions to unique towns and villages, theme parks, and so much more. Fitting all these spots in to one trip is just not possible, but you can certainly make a start by visiting some of our favourite spots. Starting with the Blackdown Hills AONB on our doorstep, and finishing at Dartmoor National Park, here are some of our favourite days out in glorious Devon!
