Likte We had a wonderful stay at this working farm campsite and couldn't recommend it highly enough. One of the absolute highlights was being able to feed and interact with the animals each day – it was such a special experience and something both of us will remember for a long time. Who would have thought chickens love tangerines!!

The campsite itself was beautifully maintained, with lovely facilities that were clean, modern, and clearly well cared for. Everything we needed was available, making our stay comfortable and relaxing from start to finish.

The combination of a peaceful countryside setting, friendly farm atmosphere, and excellent facilities made this a truly memorable camping trip. We left with great memories and are already looking forward to booking again! Mara and Karl

Thank you for pointing out that it is not clear the accomodation is off grid, although we do have flushing loos and hot showers. I will review our listing and make sure it is clear.

Likte Second time we have stayed at Westland Farm and we will be back! Lovely cabin cosy and clean. Very welcoming and helpful family friendly and all round a nice place to be to welcome in the new year!

Likte The ambiance and quiet of the position of the cabin was lovely. Minimal road noise depending.on wind direction. The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you may need to cook homely meals whilst on site. Overall we had a lovely few quiet days on the farm, and the hosts were lovely and very accommodating and friendly.

Likte ikke We did find that the hot tub took at least 12 hours to heat up so we were unable to use this upon arrival, which we were a little disappointed about. The sauna didn't take very long to heat and therefore we did not find this much of an inconvenience to heat once we got arrived. Wood is an extra cost on top of the stay, and not cheap to buy. Heating the thee wood burners requires a fair bit of wood, we didnt realise quite how much we would need to heat everything to optimum temperature. Also there were only enough lounge/sofa area for around 3 people comfortably and as the cabin sleeps 6, it seems this isnt really adequate if all sat relaxing come an evening. Only two reasonably comfortable outside chairs were available other than a wood bench, and we found that we were squabbling over who gets to sit in them. But these are just niggly bits that we didn't feel spoiled our overall experience on the farm.

Fra bestyreren: Thank you so much for your lovely review. Your points about the seatng are noted and we will look out for some more chairs that fit the decore that we can include in the cabin to provide more seating. We have already added more outside seating.
A note about the hot tub. We are very happy to light to light the hot tub for guests before they arrive if it is requested. On arrival we carefully show all guest around and explain how the hot tub works. If it is done following our instructions the hot tub is ready within two hours at the most. We are always on hand to help if guest are struggling with getting the fire hot enough to heat the hot tub and we say clearly while explaining "If within half an hour of you lighting the hot tub, if it is not getting hot PLEASE let us know and someone will come and help".
We would love to see you here again and light the hot tub for you so you can enjoy full use of it.

Likte Absolutely beautiful, welcoming and cosy little place, and only a short drive away from so many local beaches and attractions. Our family of 5 loved it, especially the opportunity to feed the farm animals with the farmer and the gorgeous hot tub overlooking all the fields, with the sound of the little stream behind the Hut as a lovely bonus.

Likte ikke A cover over the patio and hot tub area would have been perfect since we picked the wettest weekend of the summer to visit 😂 but it didn't stop us from hot tubbing in the rain!

Likte Modern clean toilet/wetroom facilities. Handy washing machine and tumble dryer for campers’ use.
Fresh produce available to buy.
