Likte The location is fantastic with views of the sea, a short walk into Fowey wich is a lovely place. The new toilet and shower block is a work in progress but ideal.

Sorry to hear that the vibe here at Lambs Barn was not up to your expectations. We are a pop up campsite, ( after 60 days the grass fields revert to producing food for our dairy cows) we do not have a cafe or shop on site and so rightly we do not accept your rubbish, which is clearly stated in our details on pitch up! We do have bins for personal hygenic waste which you will find in our toilets. We love our small piece of heaven in Fowey, we love being able to share it, it would be a shame to keep it to ones self.

Likte The field is great, near town if you don’t mind a hill walk home.
Very reasonable price.
Shower very basic but hot!

Likte ikke Toilets were a really filthy, not sure how often the my are cleaned or emptied but unsanitary beyond anything festival loo I’ve used.

Thank you for a great personal review, I'm a little puzzeld by your loo remark though, both toilets are spotless at all times and I can only think that you used a portaloo by mistake that was closed awaiting collection on that Tuesday!! Yes Fowey has a hill to climb up out of but when you use the footpath ( St Catherines Parade) beside the campsite as suggested it is a flat easy walk, there is also a hoppa bus from the town which stops right outside the campsite. Hopefully we will see you next year 😁

Likte I spent my 40th birthday here with my mum, stepdad, my friend and her almost 3-year-old, and we were all really happy with the site. We had three campers between us. The short walk (20/25 minutes max) to the beach and into Fowey was a highlight - we loved that we could do everything on foot without needing to take a van.

The showers were warm every day and the sink was great for washing up. There’s both a portaloo and, more recently, regular toilets have been added through the gate in the large wooden-style building.

It’s a simple, no-frills site, but more than satisfying - we couldn’t have asked for better for a relaxed stay.

Likte ikke There was nothing we disliked about this site. Bring chocks and you will be fine!

Likte A great site, very close to Fowey , there is a footpath right into town next to the site . Toilets , shower , water what more do you want .

Likte Friendly and welcoming. Site clean and well cared for. Plenty of space.
New toilet block is definitely an improvement on the portaloo. Easy walk into the village. Loads going on in Regatta week and fun for all the family. New Coop up the hill is a benefit too as we came without a car.

We are doing something right when we hear how much you enjoyed your time here in Fowey.
The Coop is also a new addition this summer, so easy now, a 5 minute walk up the road for your supplies.

Likte This is an excellent campsite if you don't require any electric hookup. Its a beautiful spot with amazing walks and on the doorstep of Fowey and the beach with a gentle walk down through the woods which is why we picked it. John, the owner is very helpful and informative and knows everything about the area. He was always up for a chat and the whole site was well maintained. We would highly recommend a stay here. So much to do and explore so we'll definitely be going back.

Likte The new toilets. Good location, not too far. Bus stop just by gate. Coop close by. Good value. You can catch a bus to polkerrin beach which is lovely. Small sandy harbour beach with two pubs. Bus runs until late in evening.

Likte ikke The hilly site, you can only really pitch around the edge. If you camp at bottom of the hill it’s steamy long walk to toilet in the middle of the night.

Thank you for your lovely review, as you rightly point out we are now blessed with a Coop store just up from the camping ground. When arriving at our site we do not allocate pitches because we believe in giving our campers the freedom to choose. Yes our site is sloping, its a normal field for 90% of the year but with that slight undulation comes personal survival and the sense of difference! We could make the field flat but we would loose what we have! Sorry about the steamy long walk to the bathroom Tara, may i suggest next year pitching closer to the loos😉!

Likte Fabulously location with a nice walk into town or the beach. Really quiet and friendly with a flushing toilets! Basic shower (hot water) which was nice. No frills campsite but very good value for your money.
