Legg til bedriftsinformasjonChill out at Wayfaring Down Farm, a family-friendly site that’s part of an organic farm in the South Downs National Park. Hugging the lower slopes of the national park and 20 minutes’ drive from Eastbourne, this site is a wildlife haven (free from pesticides and herbicides) with birdsong in the background, wildflowers growing and rabbits, foxes, badgers and deer often passing through.
As a leave-no-trace site, you will need to take any rubbish away with you when you leave to ensure that the wildlife is left undisturbed. Wayfaring Down Farm has a pretty spacious place to unwind with fields, a vegetable garden and a car park for your car; cars are not permitted in the camping field, so wheelbarrows are provided for you to cart your things to your pitch.
Once you’re in, you may want to leave the car behind for a bit, as there are plenty of walks that can be accessed directly from the site. Or, if you’ve got a sudden desire for the salt and sand, the car may come in handy, as there are several beaches within reach, including Eastbourne beach (20 minutes’ drive), Cuckmere Haven (25 minutes) and Seaford beach (20 minutes).
You may want to plan a stop at one of several supermarkets five minutes’ drive away from the site, or perhaps pay a visit to one of the local watering holes (there are several pubs within five minutes’ drive of the site too).
In the evenings, wind down with a campfire or a barbecue (so long as it’s raised off the ground). The site sells wood bags containing wood, kindling, cardboard and lighters so that you can get it rolling.

Plass for telt på gressplen og jordunderlag , uten strøm
Likte Rural site with great views and lots of space and privacy.
No cars near the tent meant using the wheelbarrows to get stuff to pitch, was a workout but worth it for the views and peaceful pitch.
Michael and Liz were friendly and made us feel welcome 🙏
Likte ikke Dry toilets, but they are in keeping with the rural / natural site
