Abbey Falls Campsite

Likte AbbeyFalls Campsite, near Fountains Abbey, is a gem of a spot. The location is fantastic — right on the doorstep of the abbey and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Facilities are simple, but clean and functional, exactly what you need without any fuss. What makes it special is the nature: swallows darting overhead, pheasants strutting about, and the general peace of being out in the open. A lovely place to stay if you want quiet, scenery, and easy access to one of Yorkshire’s finest landmarks.

Likte Fantastic view. Big grass field. Clean toilets and cold shower. Nice guy came and checked everyone was alright

Likte location was brilliant for exploring national trust site. Eggs from man up the road delicious- he was very friendly.

Likte Very peaceful campsite. 7 min walk to Fountain Abbey and 13 min to Brimham Rocks. Very friendly owner who checked in each night. Toilet block neat and tidy (only cold water so be prepared)

Likte Wonderful location just a few minutes from the abbey and Brimham rocks. The facilities are basic but well maintained. Plenty of room for the kids to run wild without disturbing anyone too.

Likte Excellent clean back to basics and beautiful setting.
Great walks around and Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal close by.

Likte It’s a very simple camping site, a grass field with different amounts of level ness, but you can choose your spot where available.
separate women and gentlemen shower / toilet
Building. Two toilets one with a shower, both had toilet rolls. in each women and gentlemen. Plus one sink with soap and paper towels in each. The showers are only cold water. But all was cleaned regularly. Outside there is a single sink for washing up. It is an easy walk to the west gate of Fountains Abby.
Phone reception strong 4g for calls and data.

Likte ikke Warning there is a fake website which unfortunately seems it can’t be taken down, it has everything at the site which is rubbish. the owner of the camping site has tried before to take it down but was unsuccessful.
We booked with pitchup and had no problems. we only found the fake website when actually looking for the location on the map. But as it is a pop up site meaning it only runs certain times of the year it is not showing on maps, but if you go to the post code supplied it’s ok.

Likte Lovely and peaceful with beautiful views of Fountains Abbey. Very spacious so didn’t feel rammed into our pitch. Some great walks in the area along with Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal.
Owner really friendly and helpful.

Likte Nice field, beautiful view of the abbey, the pop-up toilets and sinks were very good.

Likte ikke The absence of any sort of site supervision - drunks shouting till 1am. Not a family friendly experience at night time. My children wanted to leave as they were scared.
