Likte This place is an absolute gem. Peaceful, relaxing and surrounded by birdsong, in the wonderful countryside atmosphere.
If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place. The owners are nearby if you need anything, but otherwise leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet uninterrupted.
There's plenty of wildlife to see, without it ever feeling intrusive - sheep, ducks, owls and even a couple of grouse (I think!).
The swing was my favourite – the perfect place to spend a warm summer evening, simply taking in the views and listening to nature.
The location is ideal too, between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth, with countless places to explore. Beautiful walks, magnificent historic buildings and picturesque villages, all within easy reach.
One of my highlights was visiting Ludlow Castle. The town of Ludlow itself is full of stunning historic architecture, rich in history and timeless charm, with plenty of lovely places to eat.
The Shepherd's Hut has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Likte Lovely, calming and natural surroundings. Loving waking up to the sound of birds, ducks, sheep. Just perfect place to run away from buzzy life. We been coming back for few years and always looking forward to the next visit.

Likte Absolutely beautiful place. Plenty of wildlife and the perfect escape for thoes who come fully equipped and ready to relax and do Absolutely nothing but enjoy the surroundings. Accommodation is clean and well presented.

Likte ikke We thought that as lovely as the accommodation was it could have done with a little sprucing / freshening up on the outside. The decking being cleaned, new wood chip, cobwebs being brushed of the outside accommodation, seats and swing. More fairy lights would have been lovely too. The shower is difficult to set the temp so instructions would have been handy.

Likte Absolutely brilliant stay. Perfect for peaceful and relaxing stay. Lots of character. Beautiful setting. Perfect hosts. We will be back as soon as we can.

Likte Lovely and cosey. Beautiful surroundings and views. Plenty of wildlife. Our shepherds hut was clean, cosey with all that a person needs. We will definitely look in coming back.

The cabin is excellent,clean and has everything you need in it.

Likte Our second stay at the hut and just as perfect as the first, we booked it for longer this time.

An immaculate and well decorated cabin with beautiful countryside and lake views, set in it's own little garden (very private) with gorgeous mature trees and ample seating.

The hut is in a convenient location not too far away from the lively and interesting town of Bridgnorth, as well as being near a National Trust property and several museums. Extra note that Apley Farm is also worth a visit, which hosts regular events - we attended their classic car show (free), which was very impressive.

The hut is well equipped for it's small size, with little thoughtful extras included such as coffee, tea, toiletries. They even put beautiful flowers in there, which were so vibrant and stunning that for a few days we thought they were fake flowers!

It's likely we will be back again to rejuvenate in the country air :)
