Ik was niet blij met I think with the cost of the pitch it’s about time the facilities were updated. It’s very clean but could do with some modernisation

Ik was blij met Beautiful well kept dog friendly site. The grass is like a pitting field. Well kept WC. We only stayed one night on our way to the LD but we received a warm welcome. Loved the little book hut and bought a couple of books for our ongoing journey.

Ik was blij met Beautiful little site. Great location for bus stop into Keswick. 5 camper pitches all very level and spacious Very well maintained. Sid was an absolute pleasure to chat to and keeps the site in top condition. The shower block very clean and you get your own toilet per Pitch which I’ve never seen before. Sadly it rained the whole time we were there but I’d imagine when the weather nicer sitting in the sun with the view would be stunning. I will be back if only to have a chat with Sid, thank you for making us feel really welcome. Kim, Gill, Dash and Pan x

Ik was blij met Lovely site, don’t believe the bad reviews. Yes the shower blocks are a little tired but it was a dam god shower, lovely setting on the river and a very well kept site. I didn’t notice any pot holes on the drive in, maybe they have been filled but all in all a lovely site with a great visual aspect.

Ik was blij met Super super clean site, lovely warm toilet blocks with ample toilets, showers and private cubicles with sinks, huge level gravel pitches and friendly staff. Close to town, unfortunately the road noise would mean I would only stay one night.

Ik was niet blij met Constant road noise was annoying.. but I guess it is what it is ,yes there is building works but it’s got to be done at some point and it didn’t affect us this weekend. I’m sure once it’s finished the site will be an immaculate. It was nice for an overnight stay.

Ik was blij met Our allotted pitch looked a bit wet so was advised to park in front on the gravel. Which was fine by me, i’ve been stuck in mud before! The campsite was fairy busy with residents but everyone seemed friendly, the site is perfect for dog walks, we headed down by the river, Sharon was very informative telling us where to head. The pub at the bottom of the road is gorgeous and also dog friendly, the food was beautiful as were the staff, I bet it’s stunning in the summer, sitting outside by the marina. The toilet block was clean and the site nice and tidy. FYI-Great garden centre with a restaurant and LOTS of beautiful bits to purchase, a short walk away. I will be back in the summer when the surroundings are not so muddy and my dogs don’t cover my van in mud! All In all a great, safe campsite with a nice pub 2 mins away.

Ik was blij met The setting is beautiful, 2 min walk the the waterfall trail. Peter is an amazing campsite manager. Super friendly super helpful!

Ik was blij met The log cabin where the wc/showers are. Sofas, log burner, table and chairs would be amazing if you are backpacking, the river walk was amazingly beautiful! The site is a 10 out of 10 for cleanness, campsite owner/mangers very friendly and knowledgable

Ik was blij met This site is nice and quiet, in the summer it’s going to be beautiful, few friends, bbq and a chilled time. The site had a nightmare following the storm, minimal electric..totally not their fault, but they managed to find me a pitch with hook up. I also had an absolute nightmare with my camper, leading to a terrible nights sleep to wake up and be stuck in the mud!!! 3 hours of trying to get out…the site needs more hardstanding for vans to park on so this doesn’t happen again…it wasn’t fun! However I wanted to say a massive thank you to Clive, Kim (fyi I left your green tow rope on your fence, thank you) and the other ppl who all rallied round to get my van out of the mud and the man with the 4x4 who finally got me back on the road again..legends!

We would of allocated you a hard standing if the electric was working on those pitches. We hope this does not put you off returning when the weather is better.

Ik was blij met Immaculately clean, the bathroom and shower block is amazing with underfloor heating and lovely hot showers, the owners were super friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much for them, beautiful location next to a lovely stream with waterfalls though a Forrest which led to the dog friendly beach where you can walk all the way to New Quay. You really made me feel welcome thank you so much. Me and my little dog will be back soon 🙂

Ik was blij met Super friendly welcome from the lady in reception, lovely little site. The toilet and shower block is the cleanest I’ve ever seen on a campsite, they were immaculate! Even had a doggy shower as it was quite muddy in nearby Forrest.
