Ik was blij met Very quiet site, good new facilities. Access to the river was very useful in the heat. Only approx 10 pitches, half and half electric/non electric. Reasonably flat pitches, great views. Friendly owners, limited English.

Ik was niet blij met Beware there is a lot of nature in this site, come prepared for insects galore, free ranging chickens (not a problem if you just let them get on with pecking insects from the floor) and a (friendly) dog that will come and visit your camp at will. Only one of each toilet, basin and shower.

Ik was blij met Wonderful site with friendly hosts, sadly it sounds like they are leaving next year. Site was very quiet apart from a large group of kids on an activity weekend (they were no trouble) so we got to pitch up where we fancied. Plenty of shade, access to the river, cold drinks and ice cream available.

Ik was blij met Convenient location for our trip, decent facilities.

Ik was niet blij met Long grass at far end of free camping pitches meant a long walk to the toilet block if you didn't want wet feet.

Ik was blij met Great scenery, good price, warm shower! Laid back site with campfires allowed.

Ik was niet blij met Just a plain field to camp round the edges, I prefer a bit more variety and privacy for my pitch.

Van de manager: I appreciate your preference there Edward but did you feel misled by the 200+ pictures that quite clearly depict a 2 acre plain field? 😁

Ik was niet blij met Expensive for a basic field and no permanent amenities. Electric hookup was provided by a noisy generator that was running all day every day.
