Ik was blij met Loved this incredibly peaceful site, no music or groups made it a very quiet place to stay. Showers were amazing and both toilets and showers were immaculate along with the washing up area too. Owners were incredibly helpful and kept the site in good order, loved the opportunity to buy fresh eggs even just 1 or 2 depending on how many you wanted at the time. The Bulls Head in the village was only 5mins walk away and was a lovely pub with excellent choice of beers, the menu looked very nice too, the little village itself was really pretty with a lovely village pond and little church, there were also buses either to Sheffield or Buxton which was great. A little bit of a longer walk (1.6miles and uphill on the way) up to The Barrel, highest pub in Derbyshire was a beautiful old inn with great views. Will definitely be returning when we need another peaceful break away from it all.

Ik was blij met Quiet, peaceful, back to nature site, nicely spaced out, good sized pitches set in a wild flower meadow, and not overcrowded. Facilities were good, compost toilets, showers and washing up area kept immaculately clean. Owners incredibly kind, caring and helpful about the local area. Garden centre and tearooms up the road were lovely and a walk in the woods was great too. Would not hesitate to return.

Ik was blij met The peace and quiet of a small adults only site. We were made most welcome by Brian and he was really helpful throughout our stay. Amenities were kept very clean. Loved being so close to the sea, a nice 45minute walk and we were on the promenade at Trusthorpe or in Sutton on Sea. This is a real back to basics campsite which we really liked and we will certainly be back.

Ik was blij met Wow what a beautiful peaceful little site, even though it was full it was still such an amazing quiet place. Shaun made us feel very welcome, letting us know all about the site and footpaths. The beach was a 10-15 minute stroll, beautiful long sandy beach and Chapel St Leonards village was another 10-15mins, with a few shops and places to eat, a very nice walk along the sea wall. The site and facilities were kept immaculately clean. We will definitely be staying again we loved it here.
