Ik was blij met Very well kept site. Staff always working to keep everything well maintained and it shows. Always acknowledged by staff who were very friendly. Close to Tissington Trail which is minutes walk away which was great.

Ik was niet blij met We got an Autumn deal which was very reasonable.We had been prepared to pay full price which was still very good. If we hadn’t paid such a reasonable price we would have asked to move to another pitch. People filled their water and dumped their waste water just beside our lounge window. I suppose you get what you pay for. Still would not put us off coming again.

Ik was blij met First time out in Motorhome since 2020. Picked The Old Bush by luck as not too far from home. Site is absolutely perfect in that it’s only got 6 pitches and 4 cabins. Great views over open countryside. The pub run by Matt has a great choice of beer and spirits as well as a varied menu. The food in restaurant was great and even eating outdoors not an issue as there are sheltered eating areas. There is also a delicatessen with a great choice of locally made products as well as a nice sitting area. Emma who worked there was extremely pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. She even ensured that I was able to get a few pints of Robinson’s cider to take home. Toilets very clean which was great. If you are looking for a quiet break with everything close at hand this is the place to go. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Well done Matt and all your staff for making us feel welcome and valued.

Ik was blij met Really enjoyed our stay. Site was lovely and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. As nice as we have met over many years motorhoming. We were put on hard standing at no extra cost which was great. Toilet block was very clean and the way it was set up fully complied with Covid 19 regulations. If you are looking to get away from it all this is the place for you. We walked to Hay on Wye from the site and back. It’s pretty up and down on the way but is a round trip of about 5 miles if you don’t have a car. All in all a great site and one I would have no hesitation in recommending.
