Ik was niet blij met Personal choice I know but the toilet block was very open for men having a wee in the urinal whilst women washing their face in nearby sinks. Teenage daughters found this quite hard ( but I can see it may be good for them to relax about this!) Also not a fan of toilet paper outside the cubicle.

Ik was niet blij met The shower block is not at all good. No loo paper. Dark toilets ( can’t see at night) There is no sink to wash hands at all so people are leaving toilet with nowhere to wash hands which is unacceptably unhygienic. There is a room with 6 cold water taps but this has to be where people wash hands after toilet ( if they bother), wash food, wash dirty dishes, brush teeth and wash clothes. The campsite was too full so the hot water showers ran out quickly and we had to have a cold shower. Lots of young people but to be fair the bar room meant that noise was not too bad. I’d not recommend as a campsite for those with kids. It’s not family friendly. More suited to backpackers/ young travellers

Ik was blij met I liked everything about this place apart from the massive issue below. It’s really welcoming and friendly. When there was a storm they were on site helping people out whose tents collapsed. The shop is great. The play area for kids is good and there a great bar and restaurant. The little play area with the 2p machine was a massive hit with our girls. All communal areas are spotless and plenty of loos and showers but see below! It’s a good location but you have to drive everywhere as roads dangerous to walk on

Ik was niet blij met The showers!! Really really let this site down and I wouldn’t visit again because of this. They had no power which meant only a dribble came out at a time. This dribble was either lukewarm or cold. This is one of the most important factors on a campsite and this is truly terrible. Worst showers we’ve experienced by far.
