Ik was blij met The blue lodge was perfect! The owner has thought of everything in order to ensure home from home comforts. The kitchen is very well equipped for all kinds of cooking. The bathroom is a great size and all towels are provided. The bedrooms include all linen, the main bedroom is large, well equipped and has a lovely view. There is a private outdoor seating area off the bedroom, which overlooks a large pond. It felt very relaxing to sit there reading a book with a glass of wine. The living area is really comfortable with TV & wifi. The outdoor area has seating to enjoy the views of the lake and wildlife. There is plenty of space to walk your dog or just relax and fish on the lake. The site itself has a vibe of calm and peaceful. The owner was lovely and very helpful the whole time we were there. There is a small shop on site selling all the basics. Purchasing firepits to use into the evening is available too! We didn’t purchase, only because rain had been forecast the majority of the evenings that we were there. Lovely option though. I would highly recommend this campsite and we will definitely be returning.

Ik was blij met The peace and tranquillity of the site mostly. The staff were great, cant do enough for you, definitely go the extra mile. The site is very clean and tidy, toilets and showers spotless. The dog walk is a nice stroll alongside the stream. The tent pitch area - not that we were staying on that part - looked fabulous, next to the stream, no vehicles, just picnic tables and only enough space for approx 6 tents, perfect. The site is also not overly busy, each pitch area has plenty of space. Did I mention the views?! Beautiful.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing that can be rectified - and we didn't really mind - just be aware that you get very little/no phone signal majority of the time, but there is a payphone available! Its nice not listening to mobile phone conversations, so we wouldn't complain about this!
