Ik was blij met The warm welcome was nice. Can tell it’s a family run place. All the staff were lovely even when the weather was terrible lol. And the best shower block I’ve had from any camp site. And I’ve been to hundreds of camp sites. Granted there’s only a couple of showers but it’s not a massive camp site. And owner has more coming once planning is approved. In each shower room you have sooo much space. With your own toilet, sink and places to hang stuff and sit down. Well thought out. Cafe/bar is brilliant too. Great beer choices and food.

Ik was blij met Well I’m a well travelled camper. And this camp site literally has it all. We stayed in an electric tent pitch which was a generous size and I noticed the whole ground is kept well maintained. The fishing lake is proper nice too. Caught plenty of fish. Toilets and shower were probably the best we’ve encountered on a camp site. Cleaned very well, and very nice hot water with pressure. There’s also a cafe/ restaurant and bar, we used both and the breakfast was very good. Not a greasy spoon type. Butcher quality meat. And the cocktails were rather good too at the bar. All in all a great stay and would definitely go back.
