Ik was blij met Loved the peace and quiet, we were met by Robin, who, after explaining the site layout , offered us a choice of pitches in field one. He even offered us help setting up when he noticed that I was disabled. Whilst this offer was politely declined, we did ask for recommendations regarding eating out in Ellesmere, and I would urge everyone to consider his advice !!!!

Ik was blij met A lovely little site, literarily on the top of a hill, with fantastic views (if the weather permits!!) and if you want peace and quiet, then this is the site for you. We received a warm welcome from everyone, and we were shown around upon arrival, as with many small sites in their infancy, the facilities are basic but kept immaculately, nice touches include information packs of local places of interest, together with local tide information (for those who want to surf, bodyboard or just walk along the beach) Look out for the fresh farm eggs in the pot wash area, they don't stay there long because they are excellent and are very reasonably priced!!!

Ik was niet blij met Nothing about the site itself, but just a word of warning, the remoteness of the site means travelling a good distance (from both the main road and the local village) down narrow lanes, these lanes are also used by large tractor and trailer combinations as well as tankers to the local cheese manufacturing site, take care!!

Ik was blij met The warm welcome from Lee and his staff, nothing was too much trouble!!! Although the weather was temperamental- to say the least - everyone managed a smile and a wave to make everyone feel at home. Both toilets and showers are basic but kept immaculate, so don’t be frightened to spend a few nights here, and of course you will be helping the animals in the charities care

Ik was blij met The layout of the site is good with easy access to all of the touring pitches. The security of the site is good, the overhead barrier at the entrance to the site is only open during the day The facilities were spot on, the toilets/showers were always clean and the grounds were maintained to the highest order. Graham was welcoming, courteous and available if needed (but not in your face) Overall, a lovely quiet little site if you want to relax and recharge your batteries, we only spent a couple of nights but will be returning to spend some more!!!!
