Ik was niet blij met Adult only site but a boy around 12 with his parents. Allowing camper vans to leave at 7am on Sunday morning. Bbq 12.50 for a burger is a little pricey

Ik was niet blij met The speed bumps getting to the touring field are horrendous. Its a wonder it hasn't damaged the caravan or car. Shop and reception isnt open enough, because of this we emailed to ask about a late check out and never had any response, good job it wasnt something important

Ik was niet blij met Somehow the price was wrong. Ended up paying £35 more and for one less night than i booked ,Site blame pitchup. Pichup say site managers its pricing. Pitchup still waiting for reply from site to sort this issue

Van de manager: How you thought you were staying 4 nights for £65 I will never know your maths cannot be that good it quite clearly stated when you booked £32.50 per night so you knew the price was incorrect when the booking came through You were given the choice to stay for the 2 nights or pay for the extra so you paid for 1 extra night at £32.50 not £35 I really wish now that i had just turned you away , instead of giving you a choice Pitch up have had our reply and know where we stand

Ik was niet blij met Hot Water in toilet basin was from a water heater. Very hot (dangerous) loud traffic from road, well I'd call it a road. Some people obviously think its a race track all through the night. Not the site fault I know and its a shame really

Ik was niet blij met Shower runs hot then cold, no wifi even though advertised, electric tripped out twice being very low amps. Over priced for whats there. Very narrow entrance /exit.

Ik was niet blij met Toilet waste goes into a big tank that you unscrew a lid and see and smell everyone's waste. Everywhere else I have ever been has a hole in the floor or a toilet you put waste in. Bins are not clearly marked with general or recycling. Dog walking area full of thistles so my dog didn't walk there. No dog waste bins in dog walking area

Ik was blij met Lovely clean peaceful site with amazing views set in a lovely very well kept village with nice little village pub with beautiful food ( the holly bush ) best fish and chips and cheese cake ever 😋

Ik was blij met Nice quiet site away from the busy life. Food in the pub was amazing lovely owners. Nice walks for the dogs

Ik was niet blij met Gravel pitches not laid out very well, toilets not always clean, smell of sewage when chilling in the sun. Be nice to have a sign in sight when you arrive. Lots of people asking us what to do when they arrived. These couple of things could make it perfect

Van de manager: Thank you for your review I am so pleased you loved the pub the food and me. The gravel pitches there is only 2/3 and you cannot really lay them out any better than they are, they are marked with numbers you had pitch 1 the largest . The numbers are on the fence where the pitches are, I have really tried to keep it simple. There is a sign by my gate telling people what to do and it states clearly on this site it is self check in and pick your own pitch. The lots of people asking what to do did not need to at all. The toilets are cleaned every day /twice a day and when really busy 3 times a day so always kept clean ,we cannot pop in after someone has used the facilities we do politely ask that everyone who uses the showers etc leave them as as they expect to find them. Some don't. The smell of sewerage happens occasionally , we have no mains drainage here so all the area relies on septic tanks, I have my tanks emptied on a regular basis and I really wish some people would take more care as to what they flush down the loo and at home too.

Ik was blij met Lovely peaceful site. Nice clean showers, site warden very helpful. Pub 2 min walk and lovely river walks 10 mins away. Will definitely go back

Ik was blij met Nice clean site. Probably the best showers we have ever used while camping but I could imagine being a nightmare when busy as only 2 shower/ toilets.

Ik was niet blij met Shower heads absolutely rubbish. Toilet block disgusting from people fishing using them. Fish scales all over soap dispenser. Not really the site fault but when we arrived teenagers shouting and swearing

Van de manager: Thank you for taking the time to write a review, We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We will take your comment on board regarding the shower heads. Our cleaning team try very hard to keep the faculties as clean and tidy as possible however this cant always be the case as they cant work 24 hours round the clock. We are sorry you had to hear teenagers shouting and swearing, this is not what we are about as a park and although this happens very rarely its still not nice for you to have to hear/witness.

Ik was blij met It was very clean and well kept adult only site. Lovely and quiet. Some amazing walks close by the camp site. Brilliant little farm shop just through the hedge. We stayed an extra night and the staff did all they could so we didn't have to move pitches. The games room was good, have some good games of free pool so thanks for that. Thanks for a lovely relaxing stay

Ik was niet blij met Not really a Dislike but think it would be good if you had a path between the service pitches and the toilet block. Just me being lazy really. I have put we wouldn't return on the fact that we love to see the world and never stay in the same place twice unless very local. Nothing at all to do with the site. We both loved it

Ik was niet blij met Only one tap for drinking water approximately 1 meter off the path on wet soddon grass so every time you get water you just sink in the mud. I feel over priced for how basic it was

Van de manager: Hello Sorry you had trouble finding the taps. There are 4 taps in all corners of the site and by the waste and cod point area. Most of these are directly by the road so no need to go on the grass. We will look at extra signage to make them clearer to see.

Ik was blij met I liked it being out the way away from any main roads, nice get away for the price, loved the service pitch so no need to keep filling and emptying water. Nice little walk to the local pubs. Nice friendly owner

Ik was niet blij met Not really fault of the site but didnt like loud bangs going off all day every day we were there being ex service man. Dog mess on main field again no fault of the site. Showers could do with a chair or somewhere to put your stuff while in the shower, showers very hot and no way of adjusting, okay for me but wouldn't like small children in there. Toilet block a little outdated. You could have camp fire but only with wood paid for at the site. But these things you could put up with. Wouldn't visit again but only because we never go to the same place twice

Ik was blij met Quite location, clean and warm. Its nice to have your own shower room in the pob. Loved the fire pit with wood and fire lighters included. Lovely friendly owners

Ik was niet blij met The water tastes and smells like a metallic so recommend taking bottled water with you. Dvd player didnt work but that was a excuse to go to the nearest pub for a drink ( about 1.5 miles away)

Ik was niet blij met Only 2 shower rooms with toilets so waiting for the toilet if someone is in the shower or vice verse, I feel very over priced at £90 for weekend with nothing being there and for those reasons I wouldn't go back or recommend

Ik was niet blij met Toilet and shower block very very outdated, went years ago and it was ok but now the site is a lot bigger and more people there one shower and 2 toilets in a tin shed is not enough, dog walking area was a joke, like walking over a very over grown ploughed field so only used that once. Nothing to do for children. It was cheap but wish I spent a little more and went else where.paid for Saturday till Saturday but couldn't take anymore so came home on the Wednesday. Will not be back and definitely wouldn't recommend

Ik was blij met Clean site with very clean toilets only a short drive from Newquay

Ik was niet blij met didn't have any set time for cleaning toilets (locking them) but was always in a morning around 9-10 when people were wanting to get ready for going out for the day. Think it would have been better doing a bit later on. Also no small shop on site to get milk, bread etc
