Ik was blij met Where do I start?! From the second I arrived, everything just felt right with the world!! Helen welcomed me and showed me around. Everything was pristine and well thought out. An amazing homemade cake and apple juice waiting for me as well! I spent time in and around the shepherds hut, hiking in the forest and sitting by the fire pit each evening, soaking in the surroundings. You would struggle to find anything else that you would need, but Helen is so approachable, I wouldn’t have hesitated to ask. I had mixed weather during my stay, which wasn’t a problem at all. The shepherds hut was so cosy, and very comfortable. The outside area and the fire pit was naturally sheltered with the trees, giving me the option to be outside too. Bedgebury forest and pinetum is just next door and accessible from the site. There is Go Ape which is a 5 minute walk too. Scotney Castle is an 8 minute drive which I visited on my way home. All in all, an amazing stay, and I will definitely be booking again. Forest Edge are open all year round, so I look forward to experiencing the different seasons there.
