Ik was blij met We really loved our stay, the campsite seems to be the buzzing hub of the village and the bar and cafe was busy with people all day. The campsite was not oversold and there was space enough for everyone. The site is well run with good facilities. The location is fantastic.

Ik was blij met The location is beautiful and it's very quiet and peaceful. There's a path through the woods straight to the Mawddach trail which is fantastic. Great for cycling and walking. The people who worked there were lovely, the facilities were good and there was a useful shop as well as food and drink onsite.

Ik was niet blij met I didn't like all of the smoke in the evenings from all of the fire pits. I don't know if everyone had wet wood or something but it got really smokey and coming from the city I was hoping for some fresh air.

Ik was blij met Nice site in lovely location. Local area had lots of places to visit. Well looked after. Plenty of space.

Ik was blij met Pure escapism in the most incredible setting for a campsite. The kids loved it and so did we.

Ik was blij met Nice location, handy for Chester and other attractions, pub nearby, cafe and shop on site. Lots of space and big pitches. Easy for the M56 and was just a quick hop back to Manchester.

Ik was niet blij met The site could do with a couple more toilets. We were looking forward to a peaceful night's sleep on the Sunday as there were very few people staying and we had an early start the next day, but everyone else seemed to take this as an excuse to have a party until after 1am. I'd have had a word, but there were 3 different groups in different corners of a big field. The relaxed approach has advantages and disadvantages!

Ik was blij met Site was very nice, facilities good and the location is really close to lots of things to do and nice walks as well as plenty of pubs and the mighty yondermanns cafe! Lots of space and an informal approach which was nice.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing, only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because it's more of a back to basics site, and I can't rate it the same as one with a shop/pool/whatever else on site.

Ik was blij met Relaxing and peaceful with lots of room and our own picnic bench! Plus the added drama of the occassional take off and landing. Facilities were good and clean and owners were friendly and helpful. Location is nice for exploring the area with a good pub a short walk away.

Ik was blij met Large play area and lots of space. Nice peaceful site, very relaxing.

Ik was niet blij met A lot of the advertised features of the campsite were closed and/or unavailable. The weather during our visit was showery and so the pool was closed for our whole stay and the cafe was open for a couple of hours in total the whole time even though the campsite was busy with visitors. Most disappointing was that the baby bath was often locked.
