Ik was blij met Beautiful site, well located and a good little play area.

Ik was niet blij met It’s not really the owners fault but the people next to us kept letting their dog poo everywhere. We arrived in the dark and I ended up standing in some while trying to pitch up. I did flag to the owners who had it cleaned up but that didn’t stop them continuing to let their dog poo everywhere.

Ik was blij met Evening entertainment was really good. The entertainers really gave it their all, they were great.

Ik was niet blij met Toilets/showers were horrible. Hardly any information was available. If you leave in the car, takes ages to get back in. Canadian Goose crap is everywhere. Splash pool was shut Miniature train had no information about when it was running.

Ik was blij met Very friendly staff, Good shop and bar on site, fantastic location 40 minutes from Manchester (traffic permitting) then 10 minutes to Southport, Formby, Ormskirk. Nice walk along the canal, Childrens park was FANTASTIC, Large field for tent pitches. On site bar is worth a visit, decent price for a pint and the garden area keeps the sun till late.

Ik was niet blij met Toilets quite far away from the camping field (not great with young children, No toilet paper and they were filthy by late afternoon, obviously not checked very often. Road into site can get very busy, field was freshly mowed and it's obviously a while since it was last done as the mounds of chopped grass were massive. No Wifi in the bar.

Ik was blij met Great play area, Good location, Great field for pitching, Clean and plenty of showers, Price.

Ik was niet blij met Dogs roaming about off the leads (some quite aggressive), Families and couples all mixed together, Drunk and Noisy people late at night, Generally a bit of a free for all once pitched up, area is probably too big for them to manage. When mentioned to checkout, staff were not really bothered. Overall it's not suitable for families with young children that need their sleep. Older 8+ it would probably be fine.
