Ik was blij met A rural location that made for a quiet site with our pitch having a nice view across the hills and fields, and ideally located for access to Norwich and Cromer, The owner Clive was very helpful in showing me all the facilities on arrival and quite concerned that we were happy with everything. Toilets were clean, but we cannot comment on the showers as we showered in our Caravan.

Ik was niet blij met Poor signage for the camps location from the main rd ( we nearly drove straight past it ) very stoney access track to site, Lots of Seasonal Caravans that seemed to take up most ( if not all ) of the main Caravan field.

Ik was blij met This was our 2nd visit, and we love the quietness of this adults only site and the easy access from the A12. There are only about 15 caravan pitches on this well maintained site, but with a small adjoining tent field and a few Motorhome pitches at the side. Toilets are in a totally separate building to the unisex showers and sinks ( i like this idea for hygiene purposes ) and water, waste and Elsan point are all very close by. The site is now owned by 'Park Holidays' who own the very large modern static site next door that has a short walkway connecting to their clubhouse, swimming pool, shop etc, but even though the static site is a family one, we never heard ANY noise whatsoever from this site during our 4 night stay.

Ik was blij met A fairly quiet site within a few minutes drive of Gt Yarmouth, and a Tesco express store is only half a mile away if you run out of milk. The site is fairly level with a number of pitches overlooking fields on both sides, my wife said the toilets were clean with a lot of wood interior, but we never used the showers, so cannot comment ( neither my daughter or i used the toilet block at all ) due to being almost constantly busy, and opted for using our own caravan facilities instead.

Ik was niet blij met A lot of Seasonal caravans ( my pet hate...sorry! ) some that were rather scruffy, lined the entrance road, and fencing lining sections of the centre road that made it very difficult to reverse our caravan onto its pitch ( our neighbour seriously struggled to position his ) and despite there being 2 other 'toilet blocks' at either end of the site, everyone seemed to use the centre one.....hence my previous comment, and some signage for bins and the elsan point would be helpful.

Ik was blij met With the site being on a cliff top, you do get some beautiful views out to sea and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. The whole site was clean and tidy with what looked like a brand new modern toilet block for the 17 touring pitches that was kept spotless. There was a large cosy clubhouse that had views out to sea with outdoor seating for those warm summer evenings and with swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, games room, gift shop, and steps down to the beach, there is enough to keep the whole family entertained!! It makes a refreshing change for a site to actually live up to the pictures in their gallery, and not have deceiving pictures from years ago from better times. Personally, if i lived more local....and had the money, i would LOVE a static caravan on this site, its one of the most picturesque sites i've been on.

Ik was niet blij met The access road is rather long and steep and is single track, so can get a bit tricky if meeting other vehicles ( especially Caravans and Motorhomes ) but the view on entering the access road somewhat makes up for it. Being on a clifftop though can get rather windy......so anchor things down well, and the extra charge for the wifi we thought was quite expensive, so we didn't bother.

Ik was blij met We visited this site 3/4 years ago, and a few things have changed. The smaller toilet block looks to have been refurbished and looks very modern and it looks like another large wooden toilet/shower block has been built and also looks very smart with pot washing facilities, and a small shop in reception is very handy. The site is very quiet ( far enough from the main road ) and is all very clean and tidy and segmented into some different levels and area's....tents, family, adult only, etc. We had a service pitch in the adults only area on what was a very full site.

Ik was niet blij met Could do with more than 2 showers and 2 toilets in the small block for the number of pitches using it. Entrance road is a bit lengthy and single track, hence the strict leaving and arrival times.

Ik was blij met Small Adult only site and location made it extremely quiet. Beautifully flat, well kept grass pitches with plenty of space. Quite adequate number of toilets and showers for the size of site. Facilities were clean and showers ( unisex ) were a good size without any extra cost or limited time use. Friendly Female warden constantly busy keeping site maintained. Water and grey waste ( + dog wash area ) situated inside fenced area central to pitches. Makes a change for a site to live up to its advertisment photos!!!

Ik was blij met The fact that it's a very rural, adults only site, made for a VERY quite and peaceful weekend with a handy pub right on your doorstep, that makes Sunday lunch with more meat than we have EVER seen on one plate before. Toilets were new, modern, and clean and with a Perspex roof...quite bright as well.

Ik was niet blij met The lack of written info ( do's + don'ts , pub opening times, etc) only 2 toilets for 18 pitches we found were a bit inadequate, as people using the showers put the toilet out of commission ( and vice versa) as they share the same cubicle. 2 pitches are actually in the carpark!! and the Pub doesn't open until 6.30pm and is shut for 3 days a week. Entrance to site is a sharp, narrow turn down the right side of the pub.....so long vehicles beware! and travelling to site on narrow, bendy, bumpy roads can be very tricky (I found during our stay that taking the A158 Partney - Skegness road, turning south onto Gunby lane and following satnav was the best option for large vehicles/combinations)

You came here on a really busy weekend, most camper homes/ caravans have thier own facalities ie going for a wee. The showers etc are more than adequate and if people are really so desperate there another two loos in the pub. This site is not usally as busy it was Bank Holiday weekend.Yes 2 gravel pitches are on the carpark right beside the site with just a post and rail fence between them which I have considered removing and only because guests have asked for them. You obviosuly did not read the signs on the doors I opened at 6pm that weekend and the staff where here at 5.30pm Why do you need do's and don'ts You stayed from Friday to Monday. I do not see what your problem was with me not being open all week you were not here to stay that length of time. July & August we are going to be open 6 evenings per week .Gunby lane is not the best route. Stay on main roads. Never mind your not coming back anyway

Ik was blij met A very clean, quiet and tidy site with a really nice and new shower/toilets block. Pitches are all hard standing gravel and even the water and bins are under shelter

Ik was niet blij met Some noisy neighbour's on Sat night till the early hours with kids running across the gravel, and the narrow approach road.

Ik was blij met On arrival, we were quickly greeted by the owners ( who used our forenames ) and shown to our pitch and helped us with positioning of our caravan, and after a brief chat with the owner we got set up. The site was quiet, clean and nicely spaced with a basic little shop, freezer, hot water urn, microwave, etc. Shower/toilet block was a converted static caravan.....which I though was rather quirky!! and even though we used our own shower and toilet ( as the sites seemed quite busy from the tents use ) i did look inside the static, and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern it was, with fair sized showers. My wife, grown up daughter and I, really did enjoy our BH weekend and had glorious weather and a BBQ. I know there is a lot of rules on site, but nothing that I personally found unreasonable for the enjoyment of EVERYONE on site, but I appreciate that some families with young children in a tent could find them more difficult to adhere too, as breaking wind in a tent can be heard by your neighbours ( I know!.....we did do camping ourselves for a while ) so I would take this into consideration BEFORE booking, but if your curtious to your fellow campers and use basic common sense you should have an enjoyable time.....and we were given a goodbye wave by both owners as we left!!!

Ik was blij met Clean / tidy and well trimmed site, with some individual pitches separated by small hedges, all with hook-up Very clean toilet and shower.....looked recently renovated? Sainsburys and Retail park nearby, with Felixstowe and Ipswich just down the road. Polite and Friendly owner. Communal centre barbeque area with pegoda. Very reasonable price with no charge for electric or awning. Ease of access from A14.

Ik was niet blij met Very close to A14, so traffic noise is 24/7, but after a few hours we didn't find it a problem, but workers in the field directly behind in the early hours of Sun morning was a little annoying. One toilet and one shower in the gents i thought a bit inadequate for 19 pitches, which can include tents. The electric amps is a bit low and tripped about 3 times, but found after using the electric fire and kettle seperately it was ok, but at no extra charge for the electric, this is not really a complaint.
