Ik was blij met Contacting the campsite ahead of arrival (to let them know we were going to be late) was very easy & check-in was super simple too. The views from the campsite over Ullswater are stunning! It's close to one of the main routes around the lakes without feeling too busy or crowded and for a "no nonsense" campsite - we were happy. The toilets were cleaned and restocked daily and fresh drinking water was available at lots of taps around the site. Would happily book again.
