Ik was blij met A fantastic little site with lots of friendly, well looked after rescue animals. The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed walking round to meet all the animals – horses, donkeys, pigs, a highland cow, parrots, alpacas, emus… the list goes on and on! And not least the resident gaggle of geese who provided entertainment and lots of laughs the whole weekend. The staff are very helpful and accommodating and lovely to chat to. We sat and chatted to them for a while in the cosy bar on site and loved hearing all about the animals’ rescue stories and future plans for the site. The bar prices were very reasonable, and there’s also a small shop selling essentials and gifts – handmade by one of the owners! Also all very reasonably priced. Breakfast is sold each day and although we didn’t get chance to try, it looked and smelled delicious. The toilets are spacious and kept clean, water pressure was great and there’s also a well-sized, enclosed dog play pen to let your furry friends stretch their legs and a well-equipped play area for the children. We absolutely loved our stay here and will 100% be back again soon. This is a real gem and we couldn’t recommend it more!
